Hello Nawaz,

I am hoping you could help me. I am dealing with my first anal abscess. I have not gone to see surgeon yet because i have read the stories here of recurring problems from doing so. I spoke with one just in case because I have been waiting a couple days to be activated to post here, and I was afraid I would not be able to bear the pain. I had a bartholin gland abscess a year and a half ago which i did my best to avoid surgery for and it was healed thanks to this site. It has not come back since. Since this is my first anal abscess I am trying to do the same.

About 6 days ago I felt pain next to anus but thought it was just a ingrown hair, it soon grew to the size of a grape, and that's when I knew it was an abscess. Two days ago it grew to size of golf ball and became extremely painful. It feels very hard and hot to the touch.

I was putting PRID homeopathic salve on it because it has helped with other cysts I have had, but it has not helped at all.
I have been putting q-tip with anti-biotice ointment up the anus after every bowel movement.
I have been taking a tincture of 15 drops echinacea nad 15 drops of goldenseal 5 times a day except for yesterday. I took one tablespoon of colloidal silver.
I was able to reach out to my pevious homeopath and he told me to take silicea 30 c for 2 days at a dosage of 4 pellets under the tongue, every 6 hours, with no food before and after taking the dose. and see how the abscess was, he was worried i may have to see surgeon because he is worried that whatever is inside the abscess may go into the blood stream.

I have not had a fever yet. JUst a lot of pain and very hard to walk.

It may be helpful to know that in my medicine cabinet i currently have - Silicea 30c, Arnica 30c, Hepar Sulph 30c, I have ordered Silicea 200c and Hepar Sulph 200c just in case.

I dislike: Raw white onions thickly cut, or too much diced onion on sandwich. Carmelized onions, canteloupe, papaya, some red meats, pulled pork, chocolate, BBQ sauce

I like: Fruits like strawberry, green apple only, waermelon, mango. I enjoy some pasta, raw tomatoes, some cheese, grilled seafood, broccoli and cauliflower, and some creamy dressings like ranch. I like kale, raw spinach, and pickles

I do not ever fight with my boyfriend. I do have much anxiety from my parents going through divorce, as well as post traumatic stress from my mother going through 2 strokes.

My worst fear has happened. I went to rectal surgeon/specialist to see what was happening and he wants to admit me to hospital, do a surgery tomorrow, and put a wick in for a day. I am so afraid of having the surgery due to its complications but I am not receiving any answers from anyone on the page. I am so so afraid. I really do not want to go to hospital and do the surgery. I have been admitted to hospital and am in my room hooked up to IV as we speak. They have me on very strong pain meds that barely help the pain I feel. Good news is I didn't have a fistula just a huge crazy abscess that made me also have hemmorhoids. But I am being give. Anti-biotics and I feel a bit better. I am afraid to have a bowel movement though.

As suggested, I took 1 dose of sulphar 1m and reporting the status after 4 days.

My issue with fistula almost gone. Since last 1 month no pus no blood and internal wound is also gone. I have very little pain sometimes. Can I consider it as cured?

My issue with fungal is very intermittent, couple of days, I ll have huge problem and couple of days none. At this moment, I have itching, white skin on cheek and in ears.

My issue with feeling sick and body pains improved a bit and I am feeling I am going in right direction.

I am a jealous person sometimes. That is quite funny you say that. I am currently on another bag of antibiotics on my IV, and sitting in a sitz bath. The wound is small. Like the size of a skittles candy, and about half a centimeter deep. When they removed the gauze and packing the color was slightly brown of the pus.

Hope you are well. I have started antibiotic for infection that doctor has prescribed me as well as some stool softener. I had my frost bowel movement since 4 days. It was not painful at all. I will now do a sitz bath.

So now I have to ask and express what my main concern is.

1. Abscess coming back.
2. Developing a fistula because 50% of people with anal abscess develop fistula. Granted mine was not inside the anus or on the Anus but directly next to it. I am still extremely afraid of developing fistula. What can we do to make sure this does not happen?
And that I do not have abscess again.
