I'm taking him into the doctor today. Three (or has it been 4? I can't recall) days of fever is too much for me.

Alright in that case give him the Pulsatilla instead. It is always a good idea to have a doctor examine in person.

I just got back. Doc says just a virus. Now he is vomiting up clear yellow fluid. Still Pulsatilla?

Sorry to interfere here but Pulsatilla will not work.

Pulsatilla is one of the main complementaries to Arsenicium, which is why I suggested it - especially with the clinginess, crying, desire to be held, yellow discharges etc.
However, I am happy for Zady to make a suggestion at this stage if there is another remedy that might be more suitable.

You're not going to like this but my husband was not willing to wait to see if the Pulsatilla would work, and gave him Ibuprofen. I'm still waiting for the Pulsatilla to dissolve. Should I wait to give it or give anyway?

I am trying to put him to bed, and he is even asking to go to bed, but then starts bawling when we go back to the bedroom. Should I try Pulsatilla?

I'm just continuing to give Ibuprofen until I hear something since that's my only option right now. Whenever it wears off, his fever comes right back and he starts vomiting again.

Illness started 5 days ago. high fever (103-104), holding steady, for 4 days now. Phlegmy cough, making him gag often when he coughs. Lots of yellow mucous draining from nose. Not sweating. Wants frequent sips of water. No appetite. Breastfeeding frequently. Lethargic. Circles under eyes, looks pale/washed out. Rosy cheeks and pink/hot extremities. Skin is hot all over. Vomiting of clear yellow fluid every couple of hours since yesterday evening (except when fever reducers were given). He just looks miserable. Wants held constantly, fussy, wants distracted and comforted.
Ars Alb was given the evening prior to the illness starting, and repeated two days later. No Pulsatilla was given yet.

You might consider reading back through the posts. Might give you a better picture of what's going on.
Ars Alb was given in 30c first, 3 doses total, and then 200c was 2 doses total.

Especially since the 30c was not cutting it for his underlying chronic symptoms that Evocationer was trying to cure.
