Acute remedy please Page 7 of 10

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Oh, another thing that I ought to have mentioned but just forgotten about it altogether is that although I have not gained or lost any significant amount of weight (few years ago lost 8 pounds or so which was telling on my already delicate framed body), I have stretch marks. They are white and long, not the shiny ones or anything.

Thanks.

Hi.
So, Sameer, have not had any noticable improvement since Phos.
All I can report really is that since taking Carc, I've been quiet, more anti-social, not wanting to go anywhere, disinterested in usual hobbies, scared to do something.

Daniellie last decade
So, absolutely nothing happened from the Phos doses ?

sameervermani last decade
Nothing I have noticed as of yet.
I am a bit discouraged.

Daniellie last decade
Is it possible that my body/tissues are slow to uptake?

Daniellie last decade
Hi Danielle,

Please take 3 doses of SILICEA 30c, and report back in 10 days.

1 Dose is: Dissolve 1 pellet in 250 ml water, and take a teaspoon from there.

Sameer

sameervermani last decade
Thank you Sameer.

I guess you feel confident that taking these subsequent remedies are not harmful?

Also, I am gonna be using a mouth rinse/wash.(Doing some non-profit promotion during the holidays) I need to avoid mints, cloves, tea tree, alcohol and the like when taking homeopathic remedies...is there one you would recommend at all? I often make my own, so is it okay to make my recipe using calendula and cilantro infused waters?

Daniellie last decade
Mouth rinse and wash is ok.

Your case is one of the those cases where there are indications of many tubercular remedies like Phos, Sil, Calc, Sulph and in-fact, that was the reason for me choosing Carc in the beginning.

I am prescribing a very low dose. Even then if any troublesome symptom arises, I know how to handle them :)

It is better to give a gap of at-least 1 week (even when nothing happened from the first remedy) between 2 remedies. Of-course if something happens, it is best to wait out more.

sameervermani last decade
Sameer,
I don't mind waiting a few more days to take this remedy. I am still patient with my body, but I guess feeling just a bit discouraged. Who doesn't want to be gleeful, bright eyed and bushy-tailed for the new year? ;)
Hmmm, I was wondering about that Sameer. I thought my chronic skin symptoms were telling me I must be tubercular or psoric, so that is interesting to learn! :)

Daniellie last decade
Your dominant miasm is almost definitely tuberculosis. The sensitivity to air of the neck, the emaciation of chest being keynotes of the Tubercular diathesis. The mental state is very tubercular as well.

I would be considering Tuberculinum itself if the tubercular remedies I have in mind don't bring the desires response.

sameervermani last decade
Very interesting to learn of these tubercular and carcinosin miasms indeed. Are they entirely inherited?
Both of my parents came from a poor, seaside village where TB was rampant in children and adults and I recall hearing many stories about this. Although my parents did not have it, many of my Uncles did and they survived.
This article is a good read http://www.homeopathic.org/content/the-development-of-miasma...
which I am sure you have already studied.

Thank you for your attention to my case and for the discussion.

Daniellie last decade
Cancer is not actually a miasm. For a disease to be classified as a miasm, it must be:

1)Contagious
2)Capable of affecting every organ of the human body to some extent
3)Must pass to succeeding generations without skipping.

Cancer does not pass these criteria. Even during the times of our old master homeopaths like Hahnemann, Kent, Hering, Allen, Clarke, cancer existed, but they never classified it as a miasm for the precise reasons given above.

sameervermani last decade
I didn't know this, Sameer.
There's quite a bit I don't realize about this system of health and medicine.
So, a tendency towards Carc is tubercular?

I was wondering what you may think of phyto flower remedies for use in mental/emotional issues? They're named 'PhytoBioPhysics'. I've been skeptical noticing that most online retailers that stock homeopathic meds have them for sale.

Daniellie last decade
Carc is a multi-miasmatic medicine, but tuberculosis, syphilis and to some extent sycosis are its main zones of action. There is rarely a Carcinosin case where psora is the only miasm active.

For a remedy to be classified as an anti-miasmatic it must be capable of producing many 'chronic' symptoms of the miasm, and not just a symptom or two. Above all, it should be capable of producing a mental picture which should correspond to a diseased person in whom the miasm has reached the mental plane.

I am not aware of 'PhytoBioPhysics', and I don't think they are a part of 'classical' homeopathy.

Your curiosity about medical literature is making me think of Calcarea Carb more and more :)

sameervermani last decade
Yeah, that makes sense. Wow, Carc is complex!!
Do you think that there can be miasms, perhaps, sub-acute, that are present say, in your early twenties but disappear on their own with life and experience?

Yes, I am VERY interested in medicine although my lack of aptitude for chemistry and biochemistry limits how in depth I can respectfully discuss.
:)

Daniellie last decade
There are many remedies which have multi-miasmatic properties. e.g.,

Calcarea Carb (Psora, Sycosis, Tuberculosis)
Sulphur ( Psora, Sycosis, Tuberculosis, Syphilis)

The dominant miasm can change at different life stages, if more than one miasm is active.

So, let us try this again to distinguish further, what are your fears ?

sameervermani last decade
Hmmm, fears.
- that when I begin something, my anxiety will get in the way of me completing.
- that I cannot regain my financial independence.
- that I may not reach my life goals for example will not be a parent, will not do any more travel.
- that loved ones who I have not been able to see in years may get sick or die and I won't get to spend time with them.
- that my mother is working/manipulating to ruin relationships with my siblings. Well, I know she is, so I fear it might work.
- that I may be in a social setting where I am discriminated against and people notice that it bothers me.
- that some people in my life will learn that I have been experiencing difficulties.

Daniellie last decade
Please elaborate more on

' that I may be in a social setting where I am discriminated against and people notice that it bothers me.
- that some people in my life will learn that I have been experiencing difficulties.'

sameervermani last decade
' that I may be in a social setting where I am discriminated against and people notice that it bothers me. '

Let's see....well, I am have had more often than I expected, defamatory comments made in my direction due to my place of birth. I'm a caucasian/majority where I live now and it's more of a regional thing. Stereotypes about being really stupid, uneducated, drunk you get the idea. When this is directed at me, especially in a relaxing environment, it makes me angry and I feel that they are insulting my entire ancestry. I do not want this to show at all and try to be cool, cause I do not want them to know that they have this type of effect at all.

- I am poor ( I feel it is relative, but most people here would see me as far below middle class) and it is pretty obvious. I haven't held a permanent job in some time, I 'temp'. I am afraid that people will see this and in case of family, will worry about me or in case of people I am just meeting, will write me off and maybe even judge me as not trying hard enough.

Daniellie last decade
Okay, I am leaning more towards Calcarea Carb here based on the recent posts.

Lemme think over this a bit more, and then I will get back to you.

sameervermani last decade
Okay.
Just note however that I do not gain weight very easily and do not appear 'plump'. Rather, my build has been described as willowy but not fragile. And I would much rather go outside than stay home 80% of the time.

My partner, however, does has these qualities. Now, I am not telling you that it isn't good..hope you know that, just wanted to describe that my general exterior isn't so typical of Calc Carbs.
')

Thanks and gratitude.

Daniellie last decade
Heh.. appearances are never to be taken literally, the plump, chalky appearance of Calcarea Carb is far from being the exclusive manifestation of this remedy.

It is listed strongly under rubrics like 'emaciation' in the repertory. And anyways in order to be a stereotype physical appearance of a remedy, one has to resonate to a remedy for an entire lifetime which is rarely the case, as our life events mean that we are a mish-mash of so many layers by the time we have grown up.

sameervermani last decade
Yeah, I suppose emaciation and plumpness are not always contradictory.
I usually read up on the generalities of a remedy foremost which lists physical appearance and digestion properties, so that is why I was thinking of that.

I totally get what you are saying about the 'layers' of our 'whole' selves. Something, sadly, conventional public medicine fails to incorporate into their system.

I'm sure I mentioned this before, not sure, but I do not react well to strong sunshine: get papular outbreak on arms and hands in springtime with first very strong sun, eyes water, headache, blood from rectum, sudden weakness. When the sun is not so strong (after 4:45pm, say) it isn't like this most of the time.

Also, my hair grows fast - on head, eyebrows.
I tend to hold much tension in the muscles of my face and need to remind myself to relax these muscles.

Daniellie last decade
Calcarea Carb it is then. Please take 3 doses of 30c in the same manner as Phos doses.

Report in 1 week please.

sameervermani last decade
Thank you Sameer. So, is it alright to go ahead now with Calc Carb remedy after Phos?

Can you also let me know the safest way to dispose of unused remedies?

Daniellie last decade
Yes, it is alright to go ahead with Calc Carb.

About disposing (the unused solution I assume), it can be disposed off in the toilet and flushed away.
