It is difficult to talk, difficult to eat, due to new ulcers pain(already reported earlier), it has not affected much now, but it may spread, that is why we are informing you. He cannot speak freely, due to the above. It is throat only, not tonsil, since the tonsil gland is not swollen, and there is no pain, if pressed from outside. There is a slight pain while swalloing. from the end upto middle of the tonguw, it is whitish thick coating. He can move the tongue & it can be stuck our, without any problems. No odour.

| Re: Ulcer in mouth / tongue (continued) | From amitavam [Log on to view profile] | on 2004-08-11 |
besides cold & fever, symptoms are same as before taking Arsenic Alb.. Are u giving Sulphur 30 for other purpose ?? Whether it will lead to any aggravation in ulcers ?.
pl.reply ... | | |
| Re: Ulcer in mouth / tongue (continued) | From John Stanton [Log on to view profile] | on 2004-08-11 |
yes sulpher is my suggestion---yes more likely there will be aggravtion--but MUST be in passing only--if symptoms become too intense then homoeopathic intercurrent is called for (NO ALLOPATHIC medicines)--this way no interruption of respose sulpher may give---close monitorization is manditory as well as following restrictions ---only problem is our time zone differences--it appears to be about 12 hour difference--but post as symptoms appear---

priobiotics establishes healthy 'flora' in digestive tract--that is usually destroyed by antibiotic use---can get over the counter at pharmacy-health store...the product will most likely contain (Lactobacillus acidophilus) -but fuller spectrum may contain all or some of the following ingrediants--- Bifidobacterium bifidum-- Lactobacillus bulgaricus-- Streptococcus thermophilus-- Lactobacillus salivarius....
help with ulcer pain--LIST TOTALLY --symptoms father is currently experiencing /exhibiting (not just ulcers)
please describe how many ulcers? and where?
please desrcibe the exact 'look' of these ulcers (color, raised or flat, bleeding, white ,yellow,gray,red,...etc)
also describe the blister before becomes ulcer...
do all theses blisters become ulcers?
are the blisters just as painful as ulcers or only the ulcers painful? | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

Present position as on 16.08.04 (night) are as under : Allopathic treatment for high fever & throat infection started on 09/08/04 and completed on 15/08/04 1. Ulcers on the left side edge throughout the tongue remain very active, swellen & painful. 2. Since number of pimple like ulcers are together in a bunch with swelling, it is difficult to count the exact numbers. 3. Ulcers in front of the tongue are not projected like pimple which are seen like reddish spots. These are sometimes become painful. At present these reddish spots are not seen and therefore no pain. 4. No Ulcers are present in the right side edge of the tongue from the very beginning. 5. Slight throat pain still present (left side only) 6. Centre of the tongue throughout is coated white (hard). 7. Blisters are present in inner cheek. Sometimes it becomes painful. At present pain is less. 8. Whatever size & position of ulcers, blisters started above remain the same even after allopathic treatment for a period from 09/08/04 to 15/08/04. Initially after taking analgesic , all ulcers were aggravated, but within 2 days those were settled down.
Now the concern area is serial no (1) above.
Pl. advice. | | |

| Re: Ulcer in mouth / tongue (continued) | From amitavam [Log on to view profile] | on 2004-08-17 |
first medicine, from 9/08/04, it was Analgesic,Antipyretic, paracetamol tablet, called , "Febrex Plus". After 2 days, then no change observed, then "Cefadroxil" tablet 500mg, brand name, "Zadro 500" was given from 11/08/04 to 15/08/04. It is an antibiotic. Regarding priobiotic, my father consulted the doctor, he said, since there are no side effects, and no new symptoms, this is not required. When it is necessary, doctor will prescribe the same. Now it is not necessary, as adviced by doctor.
