This is the post by Sajjad, which I was refering to.

*************

So far we have taken more or less the common symptoms of the disease ignoring altogether her personal symptoms like thermal modalities, her interest in study/play, her behavior with her school fellows, her attitude towards her brothers/sisters, her desire/aversions regarding food/drinks and other personal symptoms which are not directly related to the complaint. These are the deciding symptoms but in absence of these we should hope for the good.

***********

Please provide details against each point.

Meanwhile continue the medicine as suggested.

Dear Sajjad

I have quoted this poem before.

The rough trnslation is as below.

You can get oil by grinding sand long enough

You can drink water from oasis by reaching it

you can obtain a rabit horn if you roam enough

but you can't make a person budge who refuses to acknowldge that there is more to learn.

Any way how is the patient now?

Rajendra last decade
One month is not yet over. :-)

What is the hurry?

Why we need oe month for this?

That is my assesment. Bedwetting that is there since birth, can't be expected to be cured within a few days.

Whenever we prescribe, we should be aware of the prognosis for the problem, so that we don't rise unnecessary hopes in the patient.

Note for reference:-

6 yrs. old She was suffering from acute constipation by birth but now constipation is cured, but bedwetting did not.bedwetting is also from birth
and
chattering of teeth at night .

Given -

Calc.Carb.200

..........

Prognosis:

1. The expected course of a disease.
2. The patient's chance of recovery.
.........

Yes. My prognosis is that Calc. carb will help to a great extant, the severity will get reduced, if not totally cured.

We will look at all the options after a month afresh.

I have not got any response from the patient.

I wish you are right.

Dear Rajendra

As I told earler too, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

However I am sure Calc, for that matter any medicine will do all the good it can , provided it is given in split dose, and is not interfered with another medicine too quickly.

Calc is a good medicine for childern. It may not cure the bed wetting totally, but it may bring in some positive changes in other aspects too.

Let us hope for the best.
