Dear Josie
Yes, could you please give me the timeline of your daughter homeopathic treatment, it'd be helpful.
I think it would take longer for my daughter's case after many years of untreated or improperly treated eczema. We also don't know what she's allergic to yet. I've been thinking in the last few days abt the possibility that her e aggravations were due to something else rather than carcinosin reaction. I tried to put on hold the steroids, replacing with some naturopath cream, but i am nearly giving up. She's getting worse each day, although i have diluted to LM7. Her skin now is red and raw everywhere, oozing and swelling a bit in some places. There are also the early signs of Staph infection at some spots. I just want to cry.
We'll see the homeopath tomorrow, I hope she'd come up with something.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear how bad off your daughter has become. I don't blame you for feeling like giving up. I've been where you are (my daughter's skin never oozed, but she had large lesions and wounds where she'd scratch and she still has scars to show for it) and it's no place I'd wish on any parent.

I will keep you guys in my thoughts, that your Homeopath has some good ideas at your appt. FTR, I don't believe that all Homeopaths are okay with that level of aggravation or consider it a good sign.

Oh, and I know that ZepOz will disagree, but you really don't need to know all of your daughter's allergies for her to heal using Homeopathy. We never, ever came up with conclusive answers for my daughter's allergies. I know it seems counterintuitive, though. Concentrate your efforts on the eczema, and I believe the allergies will follow. That was my experience.

Do you have your daughter on a probiotic?

Okay, I just went through my old emails and it was almost exactly 4 months from the start (her first remedy) to the last email that I found mentioning scratching and eczema. There were 4 remedies (not counting the remedies that she took for acute episodes during that time not related to her eczema - she got sick with colds/fevers/viruses at certain points, also) that I could find.

There were some ups and downs (that I'd forgotten, until I went back through the emails) and we had a really rough time clearing up her face and her neck/scalp. So, I don't know if that supports the 'top to bottom' theory, but that's how it was with us.

Hi Josie
Thank you for the timeline. In my situation, any info would help.
My daughter has been on Ultraflora (kind of Probiotic) for several months now. Actually, she's been on so many things that are supposed to be good for e: fatty acid supplements, zinc (stopped now), liver flushing herbal capsules (Vietnamese traditional medicines), low acidic food diet...Just hope the taken medicines do not counteract each other in her body and made her e worse. I checked with the homeopath and she said it's ok to continue everything.
It's also interesting to know we don't have to worry too much abt allergies in homeopathy and obviously, my homeopath didn't ask me much abt her allergy or diet (maybe we're not up to that stage yet).
Thank you for sparing time answering my questions.

We stopped EFAs but continued with Probiotics. I don't think it'll be a problem, her doing the Ultraflora and EFAs, along with homeopathy. I think that's pretty standard with kids with eczema.

I'll be watching for your update after your appt today.

Dear Josie
We met the homeopath yesterday, she said:
- Carcinosin LM1 is too strong for her, it's made her e very bad now. She said she underestimated her e condition.
- Stop Car, replaced with Tuberculinum LM1 diluted in 5 glasses
- prescribed Homeopathic preparation for Stap Infection
- reccommend using steroids if needed

Her infection is so much worse today, she looks inflamed and infected, just so painful to watch, even in her sleep. I'm thinking abt stopping all other medicines (including the Vietnamese herbs) and give her antibiotic and steroids if needed for a few days. Doing that, we just try to get over with the infection quickly, get her calm down a bit before stimulating her body again. Do you think it's a good idea?

PS: you may notice I made a mistake abt carcinosin dosage terminology-wise. It was LM1 all the times but diluted from 2 glasses to 7 glasses, not LM2-LM3...LM7.

My daughter just gave me a heart attack.
I called the homeopath and she insisted on using Tuber LM1 5 glasses dilution together with the antibiotic. I decided to give it a go. Around 11:30am, soon after she woke up, we gave her 1 dose of LM1 but diluted in 6 glasses (last night, 5 glasses and I think it got worse). She went into lounge room and played a bit on the computer, but soon had an itch attack.
When helping her, I saw her skin was flaky and crusted so much, we asked her to take an oil bath to clear all the flakes, crusts and oozings. She reacted badly, didn't like the idea, and soon slightly shook her body as if she was cold. But she was conscious, answered all my questions calmly and normally. We put a thin blanket around her, still she shook. I noticed her fingers and toes'nails were bluey, and we took her pulse and blood pressure, which were around 100/70 and pulse from 140 to 100. Looked like she was in a mild shock / nervous condition. She said she feels thirstier than normal. We nearly called the ambulance but once again, she said she did want to go to hospital. We put her to bed and she slept soundly since, a bit restless though.
Just had some read some posts abt Tuberculinum, I was terrified.
I was so scared, don't know what i should do now.

Anyone, please please advise what I should do now. I just want to get out of this whole thing.

CAKmum, how are you and your daughter?

I have not been here for a few days, I am sorry that nobody was able to help you with the last problem with your daughter (her pulse, etc). Were you able to reach her Homeopath or a doctor?

How is her eczema????

If you ever need to talk, my email is in my profile.

Dear Josie

Sorry for raising a false alarm in a panic attack. I think I need to work on my stress coping skill :D

But she actually had a very bad infection. That night, she was exhausted with a high fever, her body was covered with bumpy oozing spots and yellow crusts...She refused to take a bath due to her shivering state that made her look and smell so awful. I gave her some Nurofen for the fever, wanted to send her to the hospital in fear of a blood infection but my husband (much calmer than me) asked me to wait.

Anyhow, we got through all that and her skin looks much better now: supple, smooth and much less dry. The redness and dryness have improved immensely, but the rashes distribution and itchiness are still the same. We used a little bit of Elocon (high potency steroid) to control the bad spots and tried a new naturopath cream - Centela. Maybe they have some contribution in the improvement but personally, I think (or would love to think) it's the Tuberculinum that did the job. We'll see the homeopath again next Monday.

I see that I'm not very lucky on this thread. I guess I have to trust our homeopath and above all, trust God so we can go through with this treatment. I'll definitely update this thread with the final outcome, it might be of benefit to someone do you think?

Thank you for writing to me. You're such a caring person. Wish me good luck and take care.
