Have not procured arsenic 200C yet.

After discussing with her mother and grandparents, I would like to correct the observation regarding her rolling of eyes symptom.

On the previous Saturday (SEP 18), there was a lot of aggravation. On Sunday the fever started. During the fever she slept quite a lot (afternoons too) and there was a marked improvement in rolloing/eyes symptom. And from Monday (SEP 20) onwards we have not observed her rolling eyes. During this week she has been turning her eyes upwards only a little bit -- only for a second -- and only 2-3 times a day.

There is some change in the behaviour too. Yesterday I was playing with her when my wife called me to note the pulse rate of my son who was running high fever. She did not want me to go, but I had to go. Earlier she would have rolled her eyes. Yesterday she covered her eyes with her hands and pretended that she is crying. As reported earlier, now she also lies down on the floor and cries when she is angry or upset.

No further improvement in the rolling/eyes symptom. But she is maintaining the ameluration.
Cough is also under control now.

We have also observed that she gets too much scared of the insects -- even very small insects. She runs out of the room if she happens to see an insect there. She cries loudly for 10 minutes after that.

As there is no further ameluration, should we give arsenic 200C.

please explain the cough as it currently exists..

how long this fear of insects been occuring?

Lots of cough during the last two days of fever and also two days following the fever. Cough has totally subsided now.

She has been scared of insects for a long time. But the symptom is aggravated now.

Since last two days, she has again started rolling her eyes. Mostly when in stress. It has also rained here during the last two days.

Yesterday she visited har maternal grand patrents, where her brother gets more attention. She started blinking her eyes a lot more than normal (once per second). She was telling a story and was getting interupted a lot. She also told some people not to speak loud. But when she did not get attention still she rolled her eyes a couple of times (duration 2-3 seconds). She could not complete the story too (mostly due to the interuptions).

She is usually excited about visiting her maternal grands house. And so she was yesterday.

Greetings John

Sorry for the long delay in replying to your message. I had got busy with some other stuff and was not following the posts on the forum regularly.

There is some resistance at home in giving a high potency of Calc Carb to the child. Actually my father says that though the child has some symptoms of Calc Carb, she does not look like a typical Calc Carb child.

As of now, the child is showing some slow ameluration after the setback that happened a couple of weeks back. Though the child sometimes does roll eyes, it is not scary as it used to be a month back. The frequency is 3-4 times a day. And the intensity is also a bit less.

John I am curious. We are treating our son with a similar profile as this little girl. We have a docotor involved. Pulastilla reacted the same way, and even though he did things that he never did before,my beilief was he needed to go through these symptoms to get better. Maybe, these news symptoms could happen later on in life in Pulastilla wasn't introduced. My boy always had a low grade fever. which that would be cause by inflamation. pulastilla stops fever.

Cont.... My question?? Could Agaricus Muscarius be the next remedy for this little girl??? Remember i'm just curious. I know That Agarious Muscarius and Pulastilla both work with moving eyes.

mary25 last decade
and??? could you mix the two remedies or would that cancel each remedy out?? I just would like to hear your opionion.

My daughter has mostly been OK. We have not given her any other medicine yet.

Though a couple of weeks back she showed a tendency to stare at things. She had visibly become more thoughtful during those days. But the tendency subsided in a couple of days without any medication.

She refuses milk and curd still. Keeps saying she will take it only when she grows up.

Another noticeable symptom is her tendency to cry if she does not get served before other kids. Wants to have her 'return gift' as soon as she gives a gift in a birthday party. Otherwise she starts crying -- will not stop crying until she gets her return gift. Her teacher has also complained that she wants to be the first one in the school when something is being served. In school too she starts crying otherwise.

mary25-not a matter of working-2 remedies or 3 remedies or more t same time--it is about ability to manage case---single remedy ,single dose gives this ability---easy prescribe lots remedies but in long run you'll see most give up of 'shoot in the dark''--thoroughness-proper use of homoeopathic principles-clarity of accessment----need constantly strive for these qualities...

Puneet, I was doing some research on child rolling eyes and your submission came up. Whatever came of that incident? I noticed the posting was from 2004.

My son has been doing it and has the same symptoms - except he looks more to the side. It's at the same times you noted too - noon and dinner right before naps. Tooks him to our docs and they said it's probably from being very tired. We discussed absence seizures, but they felt they were unlikely. We have the option to get an EEG but have not gotten one yet as the doc seems too concerned.

Can you share what has transpired since your posting? It was comforting to find this. It's been hard to explain to others.

In above posting, I meant to say that the doc didn't seem too concerned and he has been right about our child with other issues thus far.

Look forward to your feedback.

my 7 year old son was rolling his eyes for about 6 months. Hes finally stopped and is now rolling his head, neck and shoulders. We cant seem to find anything that will help him as of yet. These 'tics' are driving us nuts.
