The ABC Homeopathy Forum

3 1/2 years child rolling eyes Page 6 of 8

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
this is not the first time that she has been upset in this manner. earlier also she has complained that some kids are not friendly.

she has two teachers attending to her class in the school. one of the teachers was absent for the last two days. fortunately the teacher has joined back today. another factor may be that she is probably the youngest kid in her section.

also that we had told her to play alone if other kids ignore her -- and yesterday she did just that. she apparently did not feel very good -- though she tried to adjust to the situation.

her mother does feel left out in the family. actually even after five years of our marriage she gets a feeling that i and my parents are a unit and that she is an outsider. she keeps complaining that she does not have anybody to talk to. a lot of times she is depressed about this situation.

how has sleep been affected lately? notice any changes at all?

John Stanton last decade
No ....

Only for a couple of days after after taking calc carb 200, she had afternoon nap. After that she was back to her normal routine of keeping awake.

As reported earlier, lack of sleep mostly due to negative thoughts and lack of confidence.

During the day she keeps asking "am I good?" and "how good am I?". Lately this tendency has reduced -- She still asks but less frequenlty.

Overall, yesterday was a good day. She did not roll her eyes. Today morning we had some rains and the temperature has come down a bit. Today evening she rolled her eyes a few times. She was very sleepy then. As usual she did not sleep in the afternoon.

She has developed a tendency to lie down on floor while crying. She might have copied this from her younger brother.

Another thing....

Earlier she used to give up toys/books to her brother easily if he wanted to have the same. We could notice that she would not like giving away but she would do that just to be good (lack of self confidence).

This has changed a bit after Calc Carb. Now she does not give (toys/books) and starts crying if we ask her to give. In some way we feel this is an improvement as she is now making her feelings known.

You must develop a routine that you follow each night, while putting her to bed. like changing her clothes, giving her a sponge. singing the same lullaby or any soothing song, evryday. even during daytime, when you find her sleepy, provide her an atomosphere, where she is induced to find rest if not sleep.

app. sleep is very imp to kids this age and they do act abnormal, if not getting enough physical and mental rest.

also routine, that is knowing what is going to happen next is also important as it gives a feel of security to the child.
whatever your discords, try to discuss them away from her. keep up a sunny profile in front of her.

toddlers are also very hungry for physical and direct expression of love and acceptance. pick her up frequently, hug her closely, tell her verbally how much you love her, many times a day. d not be irritated if she asks repeatedly about wheteher she is good, reinforce her self confidence as much as possible.

evryday massage is another way of positive an soothing contact between parent and child, plus mustard oil if used provides calcium.

what reports you have heard from school lately?please explain

As reported earlier, the glands on the back of the head (where the neck meats the skull) are somewhat enlarged.

Yesterday I also noticed two "knots" on the neck. These "knots" were NEVER noticed earlier. Either these are NEW or they have become SWOLLEN now. The swelling can be visibly noticed from a distance.

One knot is an inch behind the base of the right ear. The other one is on the rear-right portion of the neck -- vertically in the middle of the neck.

When I tried to feel for other possible knots, I could locate one on the left rear portion of the neck. This one is not swollen and hence can only be felt -- it is not visible to eyes.

All the knots are hard and 'slip' away when pressed by a finger. The child does not complain of any pain when pressed like this.

She has lately started saying that she has many friends at school. When we ask who all -- she takes names of four kids, consistently.

Yesterday I could coax her to go to sleep in the afternoon. I had purchased a VCD for her during my office lunch time. I talked to her on phone and told her to sleep so that she can wake up when I come back and watch the VCD. She promised me on phone that she will sleep and she slept for 3 hrs.

Today I tried to coax her in many ways -- it did not help.

sometime coaxing borders on trickery/manipulation--and children are often keen on observation of sincerity and manipulation--sometime so keen as to adapt same posture/behavior---she adjust to no naps and will take as feel need...good home life very valuable part of treatment..

John, I am somewhat concerned about the knots on her neck that I reported in another message yesterday. Hopefully you have seen that message.

The back of her head and neck remains hot these days. Earlier she had dandruf all over her head but now it is more concentrated on the back and the sides. This is the region where she gets lots of perspiration these days. This portion also gets dried up quickly when we apply oil.

I know that these are calc carb symptoms. These symptoms have been aggravated after taking the 200C potency. Earlier she had perspiration on the neck region -- but not this much.

Regards
Puneet

We had guests yesterday evening. She was excited and did not sleep till 10pm. Had not slept during the day too. A 2 year child with the guests bullied her. She also had some biscuits which were served to the guests.

Running slight fever since she woke up in the morning. Scalp, neck and back warmer than the forhead. hands and feet slightly warm. Rolling of eyes aggravated. Otherwise behaving normal and has been joyful thru the day. Is taking normal meals.

Slept for 2 hours in the afternoon. Pulse beat 112 when sleeping (normal 110). Pulse beat between 120-130 before and after the nap. Rolling of eyes better since the woke up after the afternoon nap.

Slept at 9:45pm. Pulse beat 108 at 10:00pm (normal). Feat/legs and hands/arms very warm. Slept on stomach (normal). Noticed perspiration on the neck only.

Has not been given any medicine.

what are exact ingredients of "biscuits' ?

John Stanton last decade
Fine Wheat floor. Salt, Sugar, a little bit of oil. No Chocolate and no Cream. Biscuits were not fatty.

Did not pass stools in the morning. Passed stools in the afternoon though. Last stools yesterday noon. Stools looked normal -- no smell -- fiberous.

Getting slightly cold here at nights (especially early mornings). This may have been the cause of the fever.

during sleep--concerning sleep position--(child sleeps on stomach)---where are child's arms/hands typically?what is typical position of head?

what differnces in this between napping and night sleeping?

John Stanton last decade
Arms folded with hands under the chest. Face turned on either side.

No difference noticed between the sleeping and napping postures.

Fever rose considerably in the night. Pulse rate 145 at 4:15am. Legs and arms become very warm when covered with sheet -- knees warmer than legs. Feet and hands are very warm even when uncovered. Skull warmer than forhead.

Pulse rate went down to 128 after she had some water and passed urine. Urine was sweet smelling. Pulse rate again rose to 140 at 7:30am.

Also getting some cough. Tongue is slightly white.

Please advice some medicine to control fever. Should we give ferrum phos 6x in water.

Also running nose (watery discharge). Passing wind regularly.

puneet last decade
single dose belladonna 30c

John Stanton last decade
what is current status?

John Stanton last decade
She was given Bell 30 as per your advice -- just after midnight on 20th (fever was high at that time). Next day morning, she had mild rashes on her forhead -- whitish in color -- just like some dryness -- rashes disappeared over the next day. She did not pass stools for a day after the bell dose. Passed stools yesterday -- stools were dark brown in color.

The fever is continuing. No other medicine given.

Fever rises every night. Comes down during the daytime. She remains quite active during the day time and sleeps when tired.

Tonight she also complained of pain in the throat and pain in the stomach. She has somewhat dry cough and coughs during sleep too. Also sneezes. The weather has become humid and slightly cold. She has been having running nose thru-out. Discharge is watery but scanty. No perspiration for the past three days. Blabbers sometimes during the sleep.

We have not given any other medicine or treatment except for bell 30 (sibgle dose).

Just a clarification -- fever does not completely come down during the day time. No shivering.
