Dear Nesha, Sepia is not merely an intercurrent, but an anti-miasmatic remedy of the highest order, and an indespensable one at that, treating as it does Psora, Tuberculosis and Sycosis.

It is just as much a 'constitutional' remedy as any other anti-miasmatic.

Best wishes.

-Jacob.

Thank you - I value and respect everyone’s advice. There is a lot of information to assimilate so I will take some time to consider what coincides with her nature.

all of the above remedies are excellent choices. I would also consider Veratrum Album 200c.

A wise choice Eurostar, and Erika, on what indications would you recomend Veratrum Album, just out of interest?

in old books under puerperal 'mania' (mania not interpreted as totally manic but disturbed emotionally/mentally)........, which can relate to many disturbances on the emotional or mental level in the postnatal period (even beyond the 6 weeks defined as puerperal in dictionaries I have found)
