John,

My daughter had contracted a virus, so I put off giving the remedy.

I am ready to start, though.

I know that I am not to give her a second dose (on the second day) if I see any changes.

Can you give me any ideas of what sort of signs I may see after the first dose? Flaring of her eczema? Worsening itching? Sleeplessness?

Also, does aggravation always occur? Am I able to use an anti-histamine if she gets really bad?

Do I stop using her herbal cream and Evening Primrose Oil while using the remedy?

Sorry for all the questions, but I want to do this right.

Thanks.

My older daughters were sick with sore throat, headaches, fever and stomach aches.

The baby had diarrhea, fever, lack of appetite and irritability for 3 or 4 days. I didn't treat the symptoms, just waited it out.

No new symptoms that I can think of, no.

No symptoms of virus remain, she's gradually getting her appetite back.

Her back had/has been clearing up slowly and had no visible eczema for a few days prior to the virus. On Sunday, though, a new patch developed (red, not super angry looking, though), below her left shoulder. The only thing that I could possibly come up with is that she ate banana that day and she hadn't for quite a while.

Additionally, during the illness, her face cleared up entirely for the first time in months. The area around her mouth was smooth and creamy-looking and healthy. But this morning she woke up with the area around her mouth red and irritated. When she went to bed it was perfectly smooth and not at all red.

And today is the first day since Saturday that she seemed to feel good.

I think the main difference in her diet during the days she was sick was that she didn't eat any fruit or vegetables except for that banana on Sunday. Usually she eats fruits and vegetables daily. I hate to think that those foods (fruits or vegetables) are causing her eczema and the irritation around her mouth.

well it is recommended by restrictins mentioned..avoiding all acidic foods--fruits and such...if planned on not avoiding and following treatment--wel not to be that way...all items with known aggaravtion as well as all with probable chance are to be avoided...and from there..proceed with taking remedy --reintorduction or hese foods --fruits anyway would come in time...as pper how treatment is moving along...or not...

think over and get an idea --of what actually you will fed child--start this before starting treatment--so as not have worrry or concern during....all clear?
questions?

It won't be a problem. I didn't realize I needed to take her off acidic foods prior to the treatment.

How long do I need to keep her off acidic foods prior?

The bulk of her nutrition and calories is still from her formula, so she'll be fine. As long as she has some foods to munch on, we'll make it.
