Today she is more settled. Overall. Naps were good. Still sounds a little congested. Will I give one dose tomorrow again? Thank you

This evening she’s a little unsettled, seems uncomfortable and congested.. should I skip tomorrow’s dose ? I’m afraid to give too much as this was the pattern last time. 3 good says and then back to square one.
Thank you

Go ahead and give one dose.

Report how she is doing after a few hours of giving it.

So last night she was quiet unsettled for a lot of the night, just not comfortable..
I gave her dose this morning around 9am.. She's in good form but took a while to settle again, its like something prevents her from falling into a deep sleep, i assume the reflux.. She's having a good sleep now tho. She still has to sleep on her belly, wakes up if on back or side.

Hi,

Ok it is having a good effect. So now, try giving the dose
Before feeding in morning, and before feeding in evening.
Do that for two days and report.

Just took a long time to get her to sleep. Like half an hour in the rocking chair - she falls asleep then wakes up, again I’m sure it’s the reflux.. I’m wondering if she could have done with another dose before the last feeding or if she’s gotten too much already ? The doses are so tiny tho I can’t imagine she’s gotten too much ?

Could I try her with a dose this evening and see if it helps her

I gave one this morning

At night, is this several hours ? After the last dose?

simone717 5 years ago
Last dose given at 7pm. She didn’t really nap after that and then bed time was around 10pm. She took a long time to settle. Seemed uncomfortable. Now she’s having a very good nap again this morning and was fine since she got up. Gave her dose for first feed.

This is where you have to see if in evening she is doing ok or good at 7
Then wait. If at 10 pm she gets uncomfortable give a dose at that time.

I gave dose at last feed. She had a good night. Should I give 2 doses again today ? I feel she does better when she’s had a dose. Sleeps better. Should I try 3 Times today or keep it at two ? Thanks and happy new year to you :)

Happy New Year to you and family!

If you see she is uncomfortable then give a dose. Even if after a feeding
And you were unsure prior, but notice after .

Dosing is done by reactions. As time goes on
You should find length between doses is further apart and doses
Can be eliminated.

But is it ok to give as needed for now ? I just gave her some now bc she was not settling. So it will prob be 3 Times today. Hopefully she will need less and less

sineadegan 5 years ago
Yes- you give as needed.

I ended up giving 4 doses yesterday as last night she became very unsettled after bedtime.
I’ve seen a change in her but I’m wondering if the dosage is high enough ?
When I first gave the Nat Phos (higher dose)there was a more noticeable improvement and I was able to put her sleeping on her back. Now I realize I should have stopped / decreased the dosage at that point (before symptoms got worse)
I’m just not sure how to proceed.

Thanks for any advise u may have.

Again sorry for so many questions.

Describe the changes.

List all her current symptoms as of now and what helps - what makes it worse.

Initially she was just uncomfortable when put lying down on her back. She would spit up and get hiccups. She would only sleep in your arms upright. Nasal congestion. Gulping noises. Waking up after falling asleep uncomfortable and hard to settle.
Within a few days on Nat Phos she was just happier, I was able to put her down, even on her back elevated. Then symptoms got worse..
stopped Nat Phos for 2 days and started using the diluted mixture. She has improved in that I can put her down but not on her back which is the goal. She has to sleep elevate on her stomach on a pillow so I have to watch her all the time.
Symptoms now are nasal congestion after feeding, hiccups sometimes, main problem is the waking after being put down. I believe it is the acid coming up that is waking her.
Being upright and held make her better, lying on back makes it worse.
Could i try a half tablet of the Nat Phos ?
After feeding her today she got hiccups and is just not floppy in your arms. U can tell it’s uncomfortable.

sineadegan 5 years ago
Try a half tab of Nat phos and half tab of mag phos.
See how it goes and then if better, give another
Dose after you wait for 6 hours and it then becomes
Worse.
