Hi Anuj, hope you are safe & well.
Current protocol : Merc Cor Q 2x/day.
Abscess: Daily ache on wakeup & at times through the day on 2nd molar LL. Pus & very little blood oozes out from abscess orifice area daily.
Halfway now, so maybe too early, no noticeable change nor any adverse reactions so far since starting this protocol.
Many thanks. Keep safe and have lovely weekend. Regards

Hi Anuj. An oversight in my earlier update.
Am actually experiencing an adverse effect from Merc Cor, namely flatulence. Barely noticeable during the days but quite extreme during sleep.
Take care regards.

mork 3 years ago
I suggest have

NUX VOM 200
15 drops in a cup containing an ounce of water, sip one third of it, 15 minutes later sip the next third of it, and 15 minutes later take the last third of it.HALF AN HR BEFORE DINNER.

From DAY 2 resume the protocol I had recommended.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Hi Anuj, noted, that’s great, thank you. So this should clear up the problem of flatulence.
Cheers, regards.

Hi Anuj, hope you have been well & safe.
Current protocol : Hamamelis 30c 3x/d, Nat Mur 6x 3x/d, Mag Phos 6x 3x/d & Pot Alum massage.
Previous protocol : Merc Cor Q 2x/day for 15 days.
Abscess: Daily ache on wakeup & occasionally through the day on 2nd molar LL. Pus & some blood oozes out from abscess orifice area. Several days ago noticed a nodule, like a pimple just on/adjacent to the abscess orifice. Mildly painful, similar to what has occurred twice before.
Have now completed the 15 day Mer Cor Q protocol and reverted to the former protocol. So far have not noticed any change in behaviour of the abscess or affected tooth.
Many thanks. Keep safe and have pleasant week. Regards

Hi folks, hope you are well.

Anuj, revised protocol noted, thanks.

Krishna7, comments noted. Seems you have overlooked the words "So far" used in my update suggesting that there is an expectation of some impact in due course. In light of your experience on such cases, Can you kindly advise on how long to wait for Merc Cor to show it's effectiveness. Thanks.

Enjoy your day. Regards

Hi Krishna7, hope you are keeping well.
Comments noted, thank you.
Would have proved informative had you answered the query raised.
Have a great day. Regards.

Hi Anuj, hope you are safe & well.
Current protocol: Silicea 6x 3x/d and Hepar Sulph 30 3x/d.
Abscess: Daily ache, now reduced in intensity, occurs on wakeup & at times through the day on 2nd molar LL. Seem to have an increase in pus & blood oozing out from abscess orifice area daily while adjacent nodule/pimple appears to be reducing in size.
Many thanks. Keep safe and have great week. Regards

Hi Krishna7, hope you have been keeping well.
Your comments noted, however my perception is actually quite different.
The issue here is not about Anuj, who has been remarkably diligent in his efforts, but about the persistence of the residual infection in this dental abscess. Had it been a typical dental abscess, Anuj’s approach would have resolved it rapidly. Unfortunately it is a rather complex dental abscess, where everything we’ve tried so far, including your kind recommendation (Merc Cor Q), has not as yet eliminated the residual infection.
The scenario, in this case, is a dental abscess with an active fistula on level II of the neck. Currently there is a sinus tract (small canal) extending from the root of the tooth, through the jaw bone and out at the skin below the jaw from which a little pus (& sometimes blood) is discharged daily. The prognosis was a high risk of neck spreading infections. Tests on the tooth showed it was not dead and there are no dental issues within the mouth. There is a persistent minor infection either in the tooth root or just below it in the jaw bone or probably both. Thanks to Anuj’s kind endeavours to date this infection has been contained. The challenge is to eliminate this elusive residual infection.
Does Homeopathy offer a means to resolve such a scenario? I really don’t know. If you or anyone does know, then I would gratefully welcome that feedback.
Keep safe & enjoy your day. Regards.

Hi Anuj, hope you have been well & are safe.
Current protocol : BELLADONNA 30+HEPAR SULPH 6C 6x/d + cell salts.
Abscess: Daily ache seems to have become more pronounced on both wakeup & occasionally through the day on 2nd molar LL. Also a lot more pus & some blood oozes out from abscess orifice area, but now it drips - no longer clots. Nodule still present adjacent to the abscess orifice and seems quite hard and is mildly painful.
Many thanks. Keep safe and enjoy your week. Regards

STOP FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS.LET THE UNEASINESS SETTLE DOWN.AND GIVE A FEEDBACK.

anuj srivastava 3 years ago
Hi Anuj, noted, will stop remedies for a while. Thanks. Regards.

mork 3 years ago
Hi Anuj, hope you are well & safe.
Current protocol : None.
Abscess: Daily ache is now almost continuous at wakeup & throughout the day on 2nd molar LL. For a few days had a lot more blood (possibly from the nodule) than pus oozing out from abscess orifice area, but now it seems to be normalising. Nodule adjacent to the abscess orifice had become larger and seemed quite hard and painful when pressed.
Many thanks. Keep safe and have a great week. Regards

NO REMEDY FOR ONE MORE WEEK.

Hi Anuj, noted, will do thanks. Regards.

Hi Anuj, hope you are keeping well & safe.
Current protocol : None.
Abscess: Continuous ache daily on 2nd molar LL but a bit milder now. A lot of pus and now very little blood oozing out from abscess orifice area but does not form a scab. Nodule/cyst adjacent to the abscess orifice not so painful now even when pressed.
Many thanks. Keep safe and enjoy your week. Regards
