My name : Ashok Nayyar , 69 yrs , businessman, married in 72, 2 daughters both married, rise around 7:30 or so.Take 3 glasses of water empty stomach, wait for motion, after that do my daily exercise-anulom vilom - kapaal bhaarti. Then after 10 minutes rest make my tea.Again have to go to toilet. Then brush and have breakfast ( generally apple or banana with curd or omelet). Then get to my business routine. In between take my bath, do short prayer and again back to business routine. We are mostly vegetarian people.Have a habit of after noon nap of about 1 hour 30 minutes.Again in evening take my tea with some namkeen. Some snack around 8 or so and then I start my drink around 9:30.My bottle takes 5-6 days to finish. Dinner around 11 and go to bed at about 12:30 or bit + - .On Sundays get up bit late, no exercise, just look after some pending personal matters unless some compelling business matters are there.Rarely eat out.

This specific throat problem started somewhere in August 2017.No pain of any kind.Developed hoarseness of voice + need to clear throat frequently ( sometimes very vigorously too ).Initially had whooping cough too which came up suddenly but occasionally.Problem aggravates with dust, smog, even dusting at home makes me sneeze but on that note, I have been allergic to dust since decades. It causes sneezing and nose running. Also have stuffy nose problem which compels me to clear few times a day.Clean sarroundings, dustfree atmosphere , fresh cool air offers good relief.

Hands are normal.Have edema around ankles. No light sensivity unless having been in dark for long.Chronic gas patient. No seaty hands or feet in general.Generally feel ok but later in evenings sometimes do feel inexplicably fatigued tho not too much.

Here , before I proceed further, I would like to mention that in 2011 January I was diagnosed for CML Advised Veenat 400 one daily which I have been taking.Few of the above problems cropped up as side effects of Veenat : edema the main effect, stuffy nose, sore throat, fatigued legs, shortness of breath ( not breathlessness ).This may help as well please.

Have always liked no chilly food, no heavy ghee etc. Like bharta, raj maah, black daal, moong daal, mutter with different vegs, dahi, palak, channa, beans , gobhi of all types, ghiya, tori, french beans, moongre, occasional non veg, love bear but since few years have shifted to whisky because bear has become very costly in Ludhiana.Like namkeen with evening tea and bun with morning tea.Baked vegetables I like.In fruit I like apple, banana, oranges, papita, naakh. But all this does not mean I like tasteless food.Taste is a must.
Dont like amrood, seetaphal, pineapple. Avoid deep fried , high oily and spicy preparations mainly because these are not good for health. Dont mind occasional chaat etc.

Another note please : I am a born lover of milk and sweet things but have totally stopped milk and refined sugar after being diagnosed of CML. These two are said to be main food of these cells as I am told.Paneer also I dont hate but take few times only.Curd I must have.We use Cow's milk for curd, cheese and tea.

I love being around water : rivers, falls etc. Water is fine but hate having wet hands etc.Must wipe immediately. More towards thirstless.YEs feel more cold than most people perhaps.May be air conditioning or winter. No cant even think of having a blanket in summer. Feel cold. Dont dislike summer as such. In food it has to be normal salty dishes.Sweet yes but only as dessert etc.

BP remains normal around 140-80. Blood sugar within normal ranges. Yes I used to have sore throat right from childhood.Cant remember how many times got this and had to take meds.Have been operated twice for pilesbut still do get blood in stool occasionally after some spicy or chilli foods in a row.

Have been talking B-complex capsule since decades. In the recent past have been taking :
- veenat 400 for my CML problem
- Pentosec DSR alongwith veenat to save from its effect
- Supplements for calcium + some other vitamins too
- Have been using Kayam churan or Trifla churan for quite some years now but not daily.Only SOS basis.
- Have been taking Carbo veg ( advised by a friend Homeopath ) post meals regularly. This was started about one year back to help digestion and gas.
- Few times used Kali Bich 30C , on SOS basis , for sneezing, nose drip etc.

One more thing I would like to mention. At intervals I develop a strong desire for non veg spicy food and this desire does not ease out unless I order from local take away etc. and eat it.

Another thing please. I am by nature a stressful and thinking person. Not a successful businessman but just pulling. This too keeps me tense and pondering always.Bit short tempered. Religious and positive but get irritated soon.

Thank you for your attention and time please.

Sorry for repeated posts. Just forgot to mention that I had gone to ENT specialist who told me that the throat was very bad, red with infection and specifically told me to come again after 10 days after finishing the antibiotic and anti allergy course he prescribed.I am currently taking that and has to go on coming Friday when he said he will get few tests done.I am afraid he is suspecting something serious.

I have had this sore throat problem from August and have taken antibiotic earlier also. There is constant hoarseness but no pain at all.
