Dear Dr. Nawaz
Today I started thrice daily dose of Alumen 3X. I am not taking any medicine other than Alumen 3X. However for the past 2 days I am noticing that the pilonidl dimple which was about 4mm by 4mm initially has increased in size to about 7mm by 7mm- spherical shape. But there has been no discharge from it inspite of the increased size.
Warm regards

Is there any pain, burning, bleeding or itching?

Dear Dr. Nawaz
Yes again there is discharge of pus and blood from the new sinus opening. I noticed it today morning on the gauze dressing. Colour of discharge is reddish. However there is no itching or burning sensation. But there is some amount of pain as before.
Should I start taking Berberis Vulgaris again? Is the discharge because of the Alumen 3X? I have again become very distressed. Please advise on what I need to do next.
Warm regards
Abhirup

'Should I start taking Berberis Vulgaris again?'
Yes, please do.

'Is the discharge because of the Alumen 3X?'
No

Also, take Hypericum 200C, one daily dose, for 5 days.

More prayers for you.

Pilonidal abscess is a condition that results in a collection of pus near the tailbone. Homeopathic treatment is very effective in treating pilonidal abscess. Some of the remedies used are Berberis Vulgaris, Pyrogenium, Calcarea Carb, Hepar Sulph, Silicea and Thuja Occidentalis.

Hari Om Homeopathy treats the person as a whole. It stimulates the body's own defence mechanisms to heal the infection. It is safe and gentle and can be used along with other treatments. If you are suffering from pilonidal abscess, please consult a qualified homeopath for the best treatment options.
