Breathlessness(urgent)
I am 18 years old. I was suffering from hypertension(150/100) from about may-june last year. I then took an Ayurvedic medicine 'MuktaVati' of Divya Pharmacy(India) in march this year. Here are the ingredients of 'MuktaVati':Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis)
Ugragandha (Acorus calamus)
Gaajwaan (Onosma bracteatum)
Brahmi (Centella asiatica) Jyotishmti (Celastrus paniculatus)
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)
Praval Pishti
Mukta pishti
Processed with: brahmi (Centella asiatica)
Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia) Manglyakusma (Convolvulus pluricaulis)
Sarpgandha(Rauwolfia serpentina) &
Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi)
It controlled and then cured my hypertension in about a week or so but caused me severe nasal congestion as a side effect which continued even when I stopped consuming it.
After a long phase of unsuccessful ayurvedic medications for nasal congestion, this month I came to learn of nasal congestion as a side effect of Sarpgandha(Rauwolfia Serpentina),one of the ingredient of MuktaVati, in high dose and decided to try homeopathic medicine rauwolfia serepentina.Q
To my surprise it cured my nasal congestion but now I feel a similar congestion in my lungs i.e. unable to take full breath or atleast unable to feel it in my lungs and body.
Yesterday I saw a homeopathy practitioner and he prescribed me Arsenic album 200 + Belladonna 200 twice a day but presently I see no results but my nasal congestion is aggravating again.
At last what could be the reason for such an allergic reaction at first and also suggest suitable remedies.
Awaitin for posotive response soon...
Thank You
What could be the reason

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It seems you suppressed the nasal congestion - you pushed it downwards towards the lungs.
A homoeopathic cure of the problem will happen according to the Direction of Cure - it should move back the way it came, so the nasal congestion may reappear (and this should be a good sign).
From a homoeopathic perspective your hypertension was not cured. It was simply moved into a different part of the body, and then left there. This is clear from the movement to a more dangerous position again by using the homoeopathic Rauw.
Diseases are not separated in the body, they are all part of one single process, one single underlying disease. While it was moved to a safer position, it was left uncured and the potential for it to reoccur remained.
When practitioners do not understand the hierarchy of the body's systems, and do not acknowledge a single life force that is sick, you will see these kinds of mistakes being made. A homoeopath would not have left you 'half-cured' if they were able to help it.

Thank you for your prompt response.
Also is any other medicine needed according to you?
And I want to ask that when the nasal congestion is aggravated could I consume Rauwolfia.Q to control it or let it happen.
And also how could rauwolfia.Q control nasal congestion when it is just an antihypertensive medicine?

I am sorry there is no case given here, so there is no way for me to judge what might be needed or if either Arsenicum or Belladonna are suitable. If a patient of mine were in a similar situation I would spend time taking the case properly to reverse the damage, or to continue the original curative effect.
You haven't understood part of my earlier post. You suppressed the nasal congestion by using Rauw as a homoeopathic medicine. Suppression means you have driven the disease deeper in, and made it worse. You could seriously harm yourself if you continue to do so.
No mediine is just for one complaint. All medicines have an effect across the whole body - homoeopaths acknowledge this and attempt to choose medicines that suit the whole case. Many other types of therapies attempt to aim their medicines at just a single location, but then get so-called 'side-effects' which are the medicines acting in various other parts of the person(which is natural and unavoidable, thus why you should not try to treat a single part).

Stop taking all medicines. Do Pranayama (breathing exercises) for atleast 15 minutes a day.
You will see relief within a week.

Just take Kali Phos 6x and Nat. Sulph 6x....4 pills of each...4 times a day. Can take the two together.
The two salts will bring down your BP and help you to breathe better.
No need to take Muktavati and Rauwolfia at this age (18 years you said ?).
If you have persistent nose block...take 2 or 3 doses of Sambucus Nigra 30c in gaps of 15 minutes then no more.
Post feed back here after 7 days.
Avoid junk food, coffee, tea, colas etc. Take more fresh fruits and fruit juices.

Sorry for not keeping up with the forum and not being able to follow dear Punkaj Verma's advice since I had to go out of town.
Anyways, day before yesterday I again took Arsenic + belladona due to short breath in the night. But it caused me insomnia, restlessness, anxiety and headache. Although only headache prevailed until yesterday morning but i cant sleep until 5am.
Hence my doctor gave me sulphur today morning then again Arsenic + belladona at a gap of 2 hrs for 2-3 times. My headache had improved a lot now.
Also in the other town I was forced to see an allopath and he diagnosed the short breath as due to anxiety disorder and I believe him to be correct since I have spoken some lie's to someone which might be causing anxiety and presently telling the truth would let me down and hence I consider it as a last rescue option.
I told this to the homeopathic doctor but he said it to be nutrient deficiency and gave me carbo veg. and arsenicum alb. 30 .
Plz guide if it is anxiety disorder or the nutrient one.
Also this incidence caused me to believe brisbanehomeopath that only my root problem(i.e. anxiety) is taking different forms.
