Crataegus for blocked arteries Page 3 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would like to make up the crataegus remedy for my mum as a surprise. She likes to drink a glass of vodka each day so I thought it would be nice to make it with that. She has very high cholesterol and has leg ache with statins.

Can I make it with just vodka, if I make it with water and vodka, do I just cover the berries with the liquid or is there a ratio and would it be better to liquidise the berries and strain?

How long after mixing is it ready to take.

Also are English berries ok to use as I live by many hawthorn bushes so can pick them fresh to freeze?

Sorry for so many questions, I just want to get it right.

English berries are fine. Yes you can use vodka instead of water. Pick only ripe berries. I pick the naturally fallen ones but you can pluck the red soft ripe ones.

Inspired by discussion on this forum I started taking Crataegus Q for last five weeks, 15 drops twice daily.

I have been taking other alopathic drugs like Ace Inhibitor, beta-blocker, nitrate, asprin, deuratic for my heart condition resulting from heart attack a year back due to clogged arteries.

Since I have started taking Crataegus Q my BP has been comming down and to maintain it at 105/70 I have been decreasing ACE-I dose. But the BP continues to reduce and to maintain it to desired level I need to cut on ACE-I or Crataegus Q dose. Please advice. Does Crataegus Q and ACE-I have same functions.

As I have low EF, only 30%, ACE-I is highly recommended. I am confused. Please advice.

Hello. I'm new to this forum. I have been diagnosed with angina and placed on 25mg of beta blocker. I have had to have a stent inserted in my right femoral artery. Reading the posts on this I tried to buy hawthorn berries but could only get capsules. I collected my own berries and followed the recipe from this forum except I added some apple cider vinegar. The mixture becomes stronger over time. I took two tablespoons twice a day but then got palpitations when the liquid was very thick and syrupy. I now mix one table spoonful with water and it seems ok. Should I drain the liquid from the berries?

Hi
The Mother Tincture i got from Homeopathic shop is a clear liquid and not like the one which one would obtain by the method suggested by the original poster. will this also be able to dissolve blocks, plaques in arteries?
