How would you assess nux. 30's action ? was there any benefit on emotional/mental plane? Has it caused any aggravation?

Migraines and other symptoms you talk about---are they older issues or have cropped up now?

maheeru last decade
I did not notice any emotional/mental changes. It did not cause any aggravation. I was glad it relieved my back pain, helped me sleep better.

I've had migraines since I was a kid but it had been a while since I actually had one where I threw up. We always thought this was due to lack of protein or being knocked unconscious.

I'm still in pain from the colonoscopy but only around the incision points and the spot in my sigmoid colon, where I get the sharp pain when I use my abdominal muscles. I think it's from the adhesions being stretched from the procedure. My left side(sigmoid) does hurt worse now when I have to pee. It's pretty much the only way I know for sure I need to go. The pain worsens when I'm laying on my left side. Some of the pain maybe due to gas as I cannot pass any until I empty my bladder and even then the bladder doesn't have to be full for it to cause pain.

For the post colonoscopy pain, please try arnica 30c thrice daily for 3 days.

Also take mag. phos. 6x 3 pills twice daily for next 10 days.

Dear supriya

Please take carbo veg. alone stopping other medicines. It'll enable us to track it's action easily.

Have you done any tests confirming scar tissues?

The symptoms you define may or may not be related to scar tissues. We'll deal with this later.

Dear Maheeru,
you sound like a knowledgeable angel and I've already gotten so much from reading this thread - maybe I can get it more specifically for the case of my daughter who had breast surgery and now has scarring on one side.

This is now after a re-surgery to relieve massive original scarring. There are a couple of firm bumps left that are annoying, not painful, and cause some asymmetry, which is a bit upsetting.

Heard about thiosinaminum, which she took for a while, but she never became regular with it and we didn't really have a protocol. Also I wasn't sure how much to take and what strength. Now we have the ointment, and she is applying it once a day for about the past two weeks but again we're not sure how much and how long.

The original surgery was 1 1/2 years ago, and the re-surgery to remove scarring was 4 mos ago.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

mesmom last decade
Hi mesmom

Let her apply calendula ointment twice daily in and around the surgery site. Let her continue this for 2 more weeks.

Also let her take calendula 6x two pills or drops two times per day for next 2 weeks.

The above 2 steps are for the latest surgery done 4 months ago.

You need to confirm the bumps as scar tissue with your physician to rule out other causes. That can be dealt with later. It's not a good idea to do surgeries for aesthetic purpose as it'd become a cycle of scarring---descarring---scarring.

Best wishes.

maheeru last decade
Yes the bumps are definitely scarring. The re-surgery was to remove scarring and was done by a plastic surgeon, so there is nothing showing on the surface. He was concerned she might re-scar, and it's better than the first time, but he agreed the bumps below the surface are scars. Is thiosinaminum the right thing to do along with Calendula?

Let her finish calendula alone for now.

After that please report more info. about scars, lumps, nature, consistency, if there's itch, how the problem gets impacted with heat/cold etc and some more details about her physical and emotional profile.

I have just received, by post, Arnica 30c. I was advised to take it as a wet dose, in the Ethonal pack (liquid dilution), but can't find the instructions. Can anyone advise? Many thanks.

Hello marymint

Your thread is on the link:

http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/253073/

You can take arnica 30c either as dry or wet.

If dry 2 pills or drops twice daily for 4 to 5 days.

If wet let 2 pills or drops dissolve in 500ml spring water bottle. From this bottle you shall take 2 to 3 drops as a dose. From 2nd dose, you need to shake the bottle vigorously up and down for atleast 5 times just before taking the dose.

if you notice any aggravation or unwanted symptom, you must stop and report.

My mother is 70 yrs. and has had a second surgery within 3 yrs. due to the removal of intestinal obstruction caused by scar tissue; I've read that numerous surgeries exacerbate the matter even if it's within a span of years. Regarding diet and vitamins, what can she do and take to prevent any further obstructions and surgeries for that matter. Because of arthritis in her knees it gets hard to be as active as she wants and she has to take meds for high blood pressure.

She does take aloe cure, flax seed oil and fish oil from time to time.

Thank you

timberbells last decade
can you give more details and her medical history timberbells?

maheeru last decade
She's had to take medication for high blood pressure and arthritis pain that's currently limited her walking ability. She also had her gall bladder removed 25 years ago.

From then on, she's had digestive problems we've tried treating with diet change(little dairy, fish, chicken, more veggies) vitamins, OTC medicines to natural enzyme supplements. Aloe vera juice and ginger has been a help but not enough to prevent an intestinal obstruction. Doctors said it's caused from scar tissue.

How can we naturally prevent or treat internal scar tissue obstruction before it requires surgery?

Thank you

Give her carbo veg. 30c (2 pills or drops) one hour early in the morning, for 4 consecutive days and then stop the medicine. Observe the changes over next 2 weeks and report.

Hi maheeru,

When I delivered my baby, the forceps was used, and I had three degree tearing, the doctor stitched it. Since then I have pain in the stich area, now has been 4 months. I have doctors exam that area, the tearing healed well, but it is still very pain, especially when I stand for long, or walking for about 1km, I feel pain and in there something is pulling down, and tight inside, I researched and thinking it might be scar tissues inside, due to doctor's stitching was not right? It bothered me very much every day; can you please advise what should I do?

Thanks tons!

'is there anything could be used externally like cream or so?' Nothing needed now. But calendula cream might have been useful in the immediate aftermath of the surgery.
