The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Evocationer, please help with my one year old Page 3 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The sulphur may have helped him. Make sure that you give me a report on his health PRIOR to starting the Medhorrinum.

You can dilute it in 100mls if you wish.

I have not tried Medhorrhinum yet. I think the Sulphur helped to some extent. The hives problem is completely gone, but I don't know if it was the remedy or the fact that we removed the carpet from the back porch where he kept getting the hives, and bleached all the moldy areas again (for the 3rd time), and now being winter mold doest grow anymore. The recurring problem has been a loss of appetite. When he first started solids he used to amaze me how much he ate, wanted to try everything, meats (chicken, lamb, salmon, shrimp, beef) were his favorite but he would also eat any vegvegetable or fruit offered. About the time the hives started, he lost interest in food, would not even sit in his chair, would take one bite and squirm or cry until he had enough room to stand up, and he would just stand thru the entire meal, and not nterested in the food very much. After the sulfur he seemed better for a while, would not fight sitting down as much and would eat a little better though not nearly as good as before, but after a few weeks it would come back, so I gave him the Sulphur once a day, 3 days in a row 3 times total, about a month apart, to see if it was the remedy helping, or just his mood, and it seemed to be the remedy. We have an enzyme deficiency in our family (g6pd)and I think he inherited it, I am waiting for the test results. With this deficiency if you eat the wrong foods (legumes, vitamin c, etc) your red blood cells break down prematurely (hemolytic anemia) and the liver gets burdened by having to process all the excess bilirubin. When he was a small baby I learned that if he is deficient I also need to avoid those foods while. Breastfeeding, so when I used to eat a lot of beans and he was about 4 months old, I noticed his eyes turning a little yellow. So I eliminated all thosefoods. Then recently, about 2 months ago, still breastfeeding, iI cheated a little, even gave him a few small bites of beans here and there, then noticed he lost his appetite completely and developed an aversion for fats, and when I checked his eyes had a yellow tinge to them again. And a few days later I noticed mine were the same and I would get very nauseous if I ate anything with fat in it. So I went back to the diet and things have gotten better. His eyes are looking better but not perfect, he is eating a little more (for a while he would take a few bites of fruit and nurse and nothing else in while day) but not like he used to. I can tell he is hungry, he goes to the fridge, but when I show him everything we have (one or 2 things I each category, fruit, veggie, protein, grain, fat) he ddoesn't want anything, then when he sees his brother eating he takes his food away, tries it but doesn't like it. And to top it all off, I had him lead tested and he is a level 3, considered normal, but 4 is the upper limit for normal so not good, lead even in low levels can really impair the intellect and cause behavior problems. He has also developed a weird rash on his calves, it's not red or itchy, just very very dry, like sandpaper all the way to his knees, then the rest of his body is baby soft. He is very smart and communicates well, but will not say any words at 17 months. I have noticed the neediness that I had described earlier is now mostly related to hunger, he can't find anything he wants to eat so he resorts to nursing, and keeps trying even after he gets all the available milk. So to summarize my concern now is his liver not working properly which I'm suspecting is causing the decreased appetite, and I would like to get the lead out of his body, not sure if homeopathy can somehow stimulate the body to eliminate the lead, or if I need to look at some form of chelation therapy. He also has a very short temper and had been like that since he was a small baby, if he can't get something to do what he wants it to do (recently he is obsessed with putting lids on and laying them off), but if it doesn't fit, or he can't get it on right, he throws them and started crying angrily. He is also very particular at meal time, he doesn't like his food cut up anymore, wants a certain type of spoon or fork, starts out on his chair but half way they the meal he insists on climbing on my char, or pushes brother off of his to use it, and since he cannot verbally express all these demands, he gets very frustrated and cries, and I get frustrated because I don't know what he wants half the time, so meal time is very long and frustrating. For example a banana, he points to it, I go wash it, he freaks out thinks iI'm not giving it tohim, then iI peel it, brother wants some so I break a piece for brother, now he starts screaming and throws the banana. I get a new one, but by now he is to upset to eat it. Also the fact that he won't speak is becoming a minor concern and not sure if homeopathy can help. In the last 3 weeks he also had a case of salmonella poisoning from visiting a friend's chicken farm, that resulted in bloody diarrhea, fever for one day, and no food basically for a whole week, and as soon as he recovered from that (I just treated with activated charcoal) he got a cold, and of course was too sick to eat for another few days. He is all better now and like I said, this week he has been eating better but very hard to find stuff that he will eat, and he even when I find something he likes, he doesn't eat it with the enthusiasm he used to have before all this. Thank you so much for all you time and help.
