The ABC Homeopathy Forum

I don't know where to start Page 4 of 5

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The goal of an LM would be to give her something that she could use on a regular basis that would progressively cure her condition.

The only reason that I started with a C was to give her immediate relief, while you had time for an LM to get to you.

My experience is that it's much easier to avoid side effects or aggravations on the LMs than it is on the C's.

Ohh ok..i was going to ask if it was possible to stay on this....what side effects...She made a new bottle and took 4 tablespoons from that today

This will be easier to manage once the Nat-M arrives in LM format.

She should give this new container about 40 hard shakes before using it again.

Every time it's used, give it 10 hard shakes before using.

You don't want to repeat the remedy until she feels that it's worn off somewhat. So far she's been repeating it every 2 or 3 days, so let's stay with that routine.

How's she doing?

Hi
How are you?
What do you mean bump?

Karen 816 last decade
Bump just pushes the conversation to the top of the page so that it's more visible.

How's this patient been for the past few days? Last week it seemed that the patient was in rough shape.

Hi
She is doing much better, energy level, less pain, optimistc atttude, good appetite. Sleep much better. Hesitant about the LM...last time she took Nat Mur was Friday..can I get the LM locally in NY. What side effects can occur if this is not the right theraphy, though so far it is fine. RA and Chron's are still effecting her. She woke up with a swollen wrist and stiffness this morning. Has rectal itching internally, but I guess everything takes time. Is there anything else for these things that you can recommend?

Karen 816 last decade
When she feels that the last dose has started to wear off, she can use another dose.

The LM and C are the same thing, they are both Nat-Mur. The letters refer to how they are made.

I don't know of any stores that carry the LMs, so my best recommendation is to buy them from either Hahnemann Labs (888-427-6422) and A2Z Homeopathy (888) 689-1608.

Because Nat-Mur. has had a positive effect, there is a likelihood that it will be of value for her for some time. At this stage we want to set up a routine of using the remedy every few days. Every time she uses the remedy it moves her system more into balance.

Because her response has been good, we can be sure that this is the right remedy for her at this time. The side effects would only happen if she were to use too much of the remedy at any one time.

To make sure of this, I recommend the 30c or LM1, rather than the higher amounts (such as 200c, 1M, or LM2 and up) at this time. If you get the LM1 from A2Z, please get it in 1oz of water. If from Hahnemann Labs, please buy it in 4oz. I think that it might be best to get it in 4oz, so Hahnemann Labs would be my first choice.

You seem rather concerned about using the LM, so let's just continue with the 30c for the time being.

She should already have a 10oz container with Nat-m 30c in it. She should use it every 4 days. To use it she should give the container 10 hard shakes, and then drink 4 tablespoons of the liquid.

If she craves it sooner than this she can take it a bit earlier. The idea is to establish a routine, such as every 3 days, every 4 days, every 5 days, etc. The best time to use the remedy is in the morning, immediately after waking up, before eating.

You are right, I am concerned about the LM yet I don'tknow why. If she continue with the 30c for now..is that ok? Will itbe addicting or have negative side effects..does it build up in her system? There is abottle in the refrigerator from last week...shouldshe make fresh bottle..i have plenty of pills left so it is ok?

Homeopathic remedies are never addictive. If the remedy is correct, and has been shown to have a good effect, it is safe, providing that the patient is not overdosed.

Every time the remedy is used, it needs to be shaken some, so that it is slightly more shaken than the last time it was used. So we don't want to remake the remedy.

Let's keep with the 30c for the time being, and we can reassess the situation in a few weeks, depending on how she is feeling.

how do you kmow if the patient is overdosed? Would it make difference if she made a new bottle?

Karen 816 last decade
If she took too much, then she might have some new symptoms that would be very mild.

I thought that we had her start one bottle, that she finished it, and that I gave her instructions to start a second one.

Has she made another container? Has she used that much of the remedy so far?

Homeopathy International 1 last decade
As long as there aren't any new symptoms, then the patient hasn't overdosed. If there are any new symptoms, please mention it.

She took 1 tablesppon originally and discarded the bottle..then another 8 tablespoons from another bottle and discarded that. Then we made another bottle and she has taken 4 ntablesppons from that, wjich was exactly one week ag. Can I make a fresh bottle today for her...what new symptms would an overdose create??

Karen 816 last decade
If she takes it every few days then stops are there withdrawals....and how do yu know if you still need it?

Karen 816 last decade
If a patient were to use too much of a homeopathic medicine it could create new symptoms. They would be too numerous to list, but if you see any new symptoms, please mention them. They would be small, as long as she didn't overuse too much.
New symptoms would be a sign to decrease the frequency of the remedy.

There are no withdrawals from any homeopathic medicine.

You use a homeopathic medicine as long as it continues to improve a patient. Many people use a remedy for years, with gradual and continual improvement.

We want to avoid making new bottles of the remedy. She should finish each one before making another.
If she must make a new container she should shake it about 100 times before she uses it.

Homeopathy International 1 last decade
i believe she already made the new bottle and did not shake it 100 times...she prepared it as she did the other times...is this going to be negative

Karen 816 last decade
No this won't be a problem. Just have her give it 100 shakes before using it next.

How often is she using it, and how is she doing in general?

How is the patient feeling?

How is she doing?

The thing that I want to express to you is that homeopathy is not about giving immediate relief (although it can do that), but about curing a disease completely.

The appearance of skin tags shows that she will need to continue with homeopathy for some time.

The good news is that she's already found the correct homeopathic medicine for her (Nat-M). She could continue to use this for a few years even!

In general with homeopathy, you increase the dose with each use. That is why I've told you to shake the container before each use.

She is doing so much better. But after having an MRI on friday, the doctor told her she has a fistula and wants to perform some kind of surgery with a band. I can't believe this..it's getting better...She took the last dose on Thursdsy, can she take another yet. The upper portion of one half of her lip swelled last nite and remained till this morning. She kept applyling lip balm..i think she might have irritated it..do you think it could have been the Nat M
