Dear Dr. Sameer,

My son right now seems to be doing okay without any cold or cough. LOoks like your recommendations has been very well received and he got better by himself this time without any need of a remedy. On a mental plane as well he is doing well.

I just wanted to thank you for all the time and effort you have taken for my son.

I think you are awesome! :>

Thank You!
God Bless!

With warm regards,
M.

Hello Dr. Sameer,

My son seems to have developed a runny nose..a watery nasal discharge, and a cough that seems like wheezing. He is als0 complaining of chest pain('in the middle') and he says the chest hurts when he inhales. The coughing is mild, and it started about a day back.

He has been free of wheezing cough all this time, thanks to you!

Can you suggest what I need to do now, Dr. Sameer?

Thanks for looking into this!
M.

Anything else which changed since this episode started ?

For each symptom, try to give location, sensation, what makes it better/worse, and simultaneous symptoms felt in other places.

Also, in general if anything is making him worse or better, please tell.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

I thought I would watch my son for a day since I posted to see if there was anything that would help me describe the symptoms in detail. But then his cough got better quite quickly.

Today again he has a cough...a wheezing cough, that is mild but frequent.

There is viral infections going around in school, and my oldest and yougest daughter are also having cold and cough.

The weather turns warm and sunny to cold and windy quite frequently here..maybe that could be a factor?

Other symptoms for my son..as of today:

- Eyes are burning,
- Throat burning
- chest paining(constant, and he says a '8' on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest)
- forehead hurting
- feels feverish

(my oldest daughter has fever right now as well, with a cough that is dry and forceful...)

PLease advise..
Thanks,
M

Dr. Sameer,

(symptoms contd., from last post..)

My son has also developed a fever low-grade since yesterday.

His mood seems to be cheerful.

His wheezing cough seems to be persisting..

Waiting for you advice...

What makes the symptoms above better or worse ? Tell this for each symptom separately. Also is there anything which in general improves him ?

What is the location of chest pain, what is the sensation ?

Dr. Sameer,

I really can't say what makes it better as it seems to be consistently bad.

As of this morning..according to my son ...Feeling worse than yesterday

- Fever still present..

- Wheezing cough still present.

mood - not cheerful anymore..consistent with someone who is very sick. he says he feels 'very weak'.

- When inhaling the inside of the throat 'pulls' (his word)...also chest hurts

- If he opens his eyes it hurts / or looking t light hurts ('constant pain')

- Feels like vomiting..

- When he sits down his back hurts.

- Back of neck hurts when he tries to get up

- stomach hurting in the middle

- throat burning when he talks and coughs..

Thank you, Dr. Sameer!

M.

The last remedy given to him was Lycopodium 200c ?

sameervermani last decade
The last remedy given was Lycopodium 30C (wet dose in 240ml spring water and 2 teaspoons of that).

Okay then please give him a dose of Lyco 200c.

Just 1 wet dose.

Dear Dr.Sameer,

I gave my son a wet dose of Lycopodium 200C last Saturday at 6:00pm. Today is the 10th day.

The coughing reduced gradually, and he still had mild wheezing until this Monday if he exerted himself.

Moodwise he seems to be back to his normal cheerful self again.

Overall there has been tremendous improvement.

I do thank you for being there and helping my son once again, Dr. Sameer.

God Bless!

Dear Dr. Sameer,

My son developed a cold and along with a light fever friday evening. This most probably was due to change in weather as in Mumbai it has been warm and humid, and then came the rains cooling everything down. Also my son had to go to school in the rain... and his feet would be wet every day.

So I gave him Ferrous Phos 6x dissolved in warm water that took care of his fever on Friday night. But then he developed this cough which is definitely wheezing, and he developed a light fever again last night (Saturday) and I gave him ibuprofen this time. The wheezing cough was moderate high according to me as he would cough every couple of mins.

This Sunday morning he has the weezing cough - it is
moderate High.

Mood: He is normal...playing indoor soccer with his cousin.

He had regular quantity of food. I am giving him milky tea instead of milk to break down the lactose that might cause more mucous.

His nose is running a bit and he is sniffling.

His voice has changed to hoarse.

PLease kindly advise Dr. Sameer.

M.
