There is a breathing exercise which could help you in dealing emotions ; I'll post it if you are willing to do;

Very wise advice, it will be helpful. I believe that I should also pray more.

Here it is:


you may be in a sitting or standing positions but the spine should be erect;close the eyes ;keep you r mind between the eye brows;don't bother about mind distractions; don't put any brute force on the mind or the point of focus;;; just with light hold on the mind;


inhale(2 seconds) : hold on lungs full(4 seconds) : exhale(4 seconds) : hold on empty lungs(2 seconds)

2 : 4 : 4 : 2

if you are facing difficulty then you can start with

1 : 2 : 2 : 1

repeat again and again

for a minimum of 5 minutes;
take a gap if you want some rest and
do for another 5 minutes

a session consists a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of your capability;

do the breathing on an empty or light stomach ;; there must be a gap of 2 hours from meals/food ; don't eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after the session;

Now, one more thing, don't tell what you don't have in your prayers, also don't complain of anything;; just ask what you want; I'm not a priest to tell all thins, just a personal experience ;

You are right, I was complaining and the 'poor me' in my praying. I don't complain to anyone else, but it is useless to complain to the Lord when he already knows all things. Now I am aware of that and now I am asking instead when I pray to the Lord.

how is your sleep?
Use melatonin. About 85% of the time I sleep 3 1/2 to 4 hrs. before having to use the restroom between 12 to 1230 AM takes 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. to fall back to sleep. awake around 330 am than doze on and off around 430 am to 5 am use restroom kiss husband off to work than go back to bed lay awake till between 630 to 7 am get up. 15% of the time after having many stressors that day, sleep is limited.

Yes. not every night. happens even while awake. chest feels heavy and lungs hurt when taking deep breaths.

Yes. one on 1/24 I was being chased and I was running. One on 1/25 being chased and I was running. one on 1/26 I was being chased and I started to fly. Can't remember details anymore. Should have written dreams down. Two on 1/28 one was my mom was blaming me for dad's death and she came at my son with a knife and I had to protect him , can't remember the other one. One on 3/1 my three dogs got out of the yard and gathered up all the dogs in the neighborhood to strike because their masters were not paying enough attention to them. One on 3/3 can't remember it.

830-12 neck feels tight and throbs, hips feel bruised with spasms, legs, butt and feet muscle spasms, sharp pain, feet numb. Can't lay on right side due to hip pain and leg going numb. 12-3 jaw pain with spasms, teeth hurt with headache, scalp hurts to touch, elbows throb and hands feel swollen. Right side spasms. Right foot arch itchy. Last 3 nights throat hurts, thirsty and hard to swallow. nose stuffy and slight cough.

Driving in traffic/scared to get hurt in accident-wouldn't fear if knew death would come fast/no pain. Someone breaking in house in middle of the night. My son getting ill or hurt. Being on a plane which is going to crash-wouldn't fear if knew death would come fast/no pain. Having learning problems and confusion on a new job/pain.

do the pains get worse after sleep/in the morning?(mention the body parts)
jaws and headache. Legs stiff.

when would you wake up in the morning?
between 330-430 am lay awake, get up around 630 or 7 am.

do you wake up in the middle of the night and start to feel sad? Yes. About 75% of the time. Sometimes I cry or feel like crying.

do you wake up in the middle of the night startled?
Only when starting to fall asleep and body jerks.

any jerking during sleep?
Yes. Sometimes wakes me. Upon falling asleep I sometimes can feel body jerking.

what are the foods you like most to eat?
Salads with grilled chicken breast, popcorn, black licorice, cheese or veggie pizza, oatmeal raisin cookies, homemade beans, gluten free waffles and French toast. gluten free tuna sandwich with cheese lettuce and mayo. homemade gluten free noodle broccoli broth soup.

what are the drinks you like most to drink?
Mixed green/decaf ice tea, organic ginger ale, organic root beer.

what kind of food makes your problems/pain/digestion worse?
Digestion-bell peppers and fried foods. pain/problems-From what I can tell artificial colors, flavors and chemical additives. To much sugar.

what kind of drinks makes your problems/pain/digestions worse?
Digestion-regular decaf hot tea.
pain/problems-From what I can tell sugary sodas with chemical additives.

would you like to be consoled?
Sometimes. Only from husband, son or sister.

what about your anger?
Yes. Mostly keep it inside.

at what instances you become angry?
When husband drinks. Driving in traffic and seeing the drivers do stupid moves.

which problems occur/worsen after angry?
Anxiety sets in. Get depressed. Muscles tighten up and shoulder muscles get hard. Back of neck and scalp hurt more. I get dizzy, feverish and shaky. grind teeth more.

does angry cause sleepleeness?
Yes. I lay in bed twist and turn, much on mind.

I'm going a slower pace than my normal one in your case , but I'm closing in ;;;;

Just to suggest you that whenever you are awake at night or feeling sleeplessness , please do the breathing exercises ;;;; Also there is a special benefit if you practice them at those 3:30 AM to 5:00 AM hours or anytime you feel angry or sad ;
