This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
In a little town there was only one qualified doctor.

From neighbouring villages many patients used to come to him for consultation.

One evening a husband and wife ...who lived in a neighbouring village....brought their little baby for treatment...as the baby was running high fever.

It was about the time the doctor was to close his clinic and he had seen many patients during the day. The husband and wife pleaded with the doctor and doctor's secretary for a consultantion...but the doctor refused saying : 'time for my tennis game !! Come tomorrow !!'

The husband and wife stayed in the town overnight with their relative assuming that they would get to see the doctor in the morning for their baby.

Around 4 a.m. that night.. the baby died !!

....
.....

Many months later the doctor's young son was bitten by a snake. He checked all his medical books but did not find a cure for it.

A friend of the doctor said that in a neighbouring village there lived a snake charmer. He left immediately to get him and see if he could help.

Sure enough..he reached the snake charmer's house at an unearthly hour ... across midnight ...and woke him up. He told him the predicament and asked him if he would accompany him to the town in the morning to help the doctor's son.

The snake charmer said...if the boy needed help...then it had to be right away !!

The doctor's friend and the snake charmer left for the town almost immediately
and reached the town before sunrise.

The snake charmer examined the boy who had been in great pain and his body was turning blue with the poision....

The snake charmer placed his mouth on the boy's leg where the snake had bitten and sucked the bad blood out...then spat it out...he did this three times..until all the poisionous blood was taken out.

By afternoon that day...the boy was out of danger.

The doctor came and asked the snake charmer...'how much money do you want !!'
He refused to take any money..just told the doctor.... 'some months back I and my wife came to you with lot of hope but you refused to see our baby who was ill because your time was over...and my baby died that night !!'....'No amount of money can bring my baby back !!'......'if I had not started from my village right away as I did...your son would have died !!'

......
.......

Amanda ....you will meet some people here who have a great deal of compassion !!

Best wishes,

Thankyou very much for your reply, i understand what you're saying but recently i wrote a message concerning a problem i had with Sepia, i asked for a reply from a doctor as there was and still is a real problem, even my local Homeopathic Dr in my French town is having a problem helping me. The person who replied was a french person that lives near Paris, if you read the message he sent me he speaks of us in his first reply, which can lead to think that you consult between you??? Then eventually he asked me if i wanted a teleohone number or an e mail to be able to communicate more directly. Which was ok for me, so i sent a mail to what i thought was still part of abc homeopathy as the mail started with abc. He finished by explaining that in fact when he replied to me he didn't consult anyone esle and that he wasn't a doctor, but that he's been taking an interest in homeopathy for some years, which is also ok!!! But then the last mail i had for him started to change context, now he would like to talk with me on other subjects!!! Maybe i'm seeing things that are'nt there, but i feel uncomfortable so i wanted to ask you the question if it's possible to come into contact with people that 'even though they are very well meaning, maybe feeling LONELY?' Best Regards Amanda.

Hi Amanda,
unfortunatly there is no way to stop people from calling themselves 'Doctor' who are not.
Many people don't put any information in their online profile, this would help. Although there are websites of genuine Homoeopaths, many do not take online cases, and not for free either.
I would suggest that you look into the profiles of people that post here and the ones that are qualified will put this into their profiles. There are some that are not qualified as such but can and do give good advice, there are some that do not. But you would need to have studied Hpathy to be able to tell which is which. I hope this is of some help.
regards

Amanda....if you think I can help you...just state your problem.

Sometimes I ask people to e-mail me coz many people post on that thread and analysis of the case becomes difficult. So I seek an e-mail giving a summarised case for me to respond to quickly.

I don't speak French...nor do I understand French one bit...and as of now I don't have a website of mine.

About loneliness...well its good to be amongst people....GOD wants all of us to be like that....even the Bible says so.

Hindu culture teaches four basics of living to every human being:

1. Namrata...that is politeness

2. Seva....that is Service to Society

3. Sangath.....that is togetherness with people (as opposed to loneliness).

4. Umeed....that is Hope (as opposed to despair) !!

Best wishes,

I have had similiar experiences with the internet not just at THIS website but at other websites as well.

I learned this soon after I started using the internet several years ago. I learned my lesson right off to avoid communicating with people directly through personal e-mail.

I quickly learned the value in websites like this.

Always be leery of ANYONE asking you to contact them at their personal e-mai. Next, they will want you to contact them on the phone and if it's a man he will expect you to pay for the long distance phone call.

It is common for men to use the internet looking for women and it isn't always out of lonliness. Many times they are looking for sex or for some place to live.

Avoid giving personal information over the internet. And never be honest about where you live. It is not safe. And this includes homeopathy. It is not necessary to say exactly what city you live in so that someone can get you an appropriate remedy.

That is the reason for websites like this. To keep our e-mails clean and stick to business.

Don't trust anyone on the internet. It isn't worth the risk.

The very first person I ever had contact at a website eventually invited herself to come and visit me. She was from a foreign country.

She always asked people where they lived. She was looking for someone who lived in the USA so she could move there.

One day, I got an e-mail from her that she had purchased her plane ticket to come and visit me, but I knew she was planning on staying permanently.

She kept calling my home and had to change my phone number. BELIEVE ME IF I WOULD HAVE GIVEN HER MY HOME ADDRESS, SHE WOULD HAVE SHOWN UP AT MY DOOR STEP

U N I N V I T E D and U N W E L C O M E D

From then on, I learned to avoid personal e-mailing with anyone.

IF YOU ENCOUNTER THIS PROBLEM WITH ANYONE ELSE AT THIS WEBSITE, PLEASE LET US KNOW.

Thank you.

Hello again Pankaj,
I appreciate your writing and i understand better you're reaction to my letter now, i have been a follower of Nisargadatta Maharaj and osho for some years now, i am in total agreance with you concerning ' the four basics of living' my only worry is that even though it's possible to help someone with homeopathy it's also possible to make big mistakes!! In Europe in the last couple of years an incline in usage of homeopathic treatments has been noticed and the Germans are very worried about misunderstandings and wrong dosing in homeopathy. Maybe they're right to be concerned maybe not, but i'm sure you can appreciate that the attitude in europe is very different towards holistic medecine than in other countries. It's taken the French a long time to witness that MAYBE HOMEOPATHY has a place in medecine in France. Im probably a victim myself of the paranoia that surrounds alternative medecine in this country, but i'm working on it. Having said that i've never taken classical medication, as it makes me sick. And yes i would appreciate it if you could look at my case as at the moment i'm stuck in Sepia and can't find my way out. Best Wishes Amanda. Ps sorry if there are any spelling mistakes i have'nt lived in the UK since 1990.

The advantage of being on a website like this is ...you can get second opinions too.

However...no two doctors agree completely ...and no two homeopaths agree completely....just human nature.

PANKAJ VARMA last decade
Quite right.... and as each individual is individual, of the two doctors that don't agree, one will lead to a healing and the other won't. That makes all the difference !!!!!!

Then choose the one who has a better track record....I think that is a way out.

Meanwhile, I am going to watch the Football Game ...who ever wants to join me is welcome!!

Thankyou parisNSA,
I agree, whilst there are wonderfull well meaning people who want to help, there are also peaple who are in they're EGO TRIPS and are looking for PREY!! For me it's important to give people the benefit of the doubt, after a few near escapes i try to take care. (usually if one looks carefully, one can see the signs) which is why i posted the first letter, i will clarify with the person concerned to find out what his intentions are. Amanda.

From what I have so far gathered after reading many books, written by authors from right across the world, homeopathy, is safe for self prescription as long as potencies do not exceed 200. Higher potencies, they say, should best be left for the experts to decide. Similarly, some Chronic / Constitutional / Life threatening diseases / cases should best be excluded from the practice list of the novice. The 'remedy picture' so provided in most MM's can serve as an excellent guide for selecting what is best for an individual.
Regards, Karim.

There is much wisdom the replies I read, but only one truth.
I would suggest the readers to accept suggestions but always go back to the original sources.
Hahneman himself
Kent's repertory
Hahneman himself
Dr. Margreth Tyler
and others to see what is symptomatically related to your case (This varies from case to case that's why anybody can give suggestions but you need to have the perfect match and that is only you yourself!)

When we go to five different homeopaths on the very same day, all five will give you five different remedies to take.

It is evident at this website, where normally no two homeoapths agree on the same remedy.
