Help my dad post sepsis and stroke

Hi,

Here are the current symptoms of my dad. Please help suggest the most suitable remedy that can help him. He is 75 years old, weighs 60kg and is 177cm. He is not obese and is Indian. Originally born in Uganda. First stroke in 1991 (a brain haemorrhage) and then a subsequent stroke in 2009 and then most recent one Feb 18th this year.

1). Sometimes, especially near towards finishing his dinner, he has complications. He forgets to chew and swallow. We have to remind he already has food in his mouth, so please chew that food and swallow before putting in new food. But he keeps putting in new food in his mouth until his mouth is completely full and he can no longer put more food and then he makes noises like “um um” which is his way of seeking for help and so me and my mum intervene and remind him you already have food in mouth so chew and then swallow. Sometimes Mandip has to stand in front of his dad and show him the action of chewing so that his dad can copy.

2). Papa has lost confidence in his ability to stand on his own without having need to hold onto something. I have tried to teach him to just stand for few minutes to make his legs stronger but after few seconds he says “I’m going to fall”. Then he starts falling backwards.

3). Papa has to always look downwards onto the floor whilst walking with the walking frame. I tell him to look up and straight when walking but after just 1 second of looking up and straight whilst walking he automatically goes back to looking downwards at the floor when walking. He needs to get into the habit of looking straight whilst walking so that his posture is up and straight and not bend and downwards. Maybe the reason why he has to look at the floor whilst he walks is because he is scared or lost confidence.

4). Papa has a lot of difficulties getting up from the chair. There is no power in him to stand up on his own without me and my mum helping him to get up. The hospital have provided him with a special chair it is called a recliner chair that has a button to raise it forwards so that it easier for him to get up. But ideally, we want him to be able to get up quickly in his own because otherwise he wets himself because it is taking him too long to get up from chair.

5). A very peculiar symptom I have always noticed is papa crosses his legs when laying in bed, when sleeping and when sitting in chair. Me and my mum have to shout at him “Don’t cross your legs”.

6). Papa has developed a habit of putting his right hand inside his nappy onto his penis. He doesn’t do anything further but his right hand always goes inside his nappy. Maybe this makes it comfortable for him we don’t know but the problem with this is that it causes all the urine to spill outwards because he has been fiddling with his nappie.

7). Papa feels more lively and energetic between 5pm-6pm. During this time he wants to get up from his chair and walk. 5pm - 6pm is the time he always feels the best.

8). Papa is not constipated but his stool is dark brown, very big, very thick and strong.

9). Papa sometimes doesn’t have sense. For example, when he is sitting in his commode and he is doing a poo he urinates all onto the floor. So we have to shout at him and tell him off because we then have to clean and mop the whole floor. We tell him if you are about to urinate tell us so we can bring you the bottle instead of just itibating in the floor because this is a living room not a toilet.

10). Papa right knee is a bit sore and painful. The right knee doesn’t extend fully straight. It stays a bit locked/bent when he walking. We keep shouting at him to straighten the right knee when you walk but he doesn’t do it.

The number one priority for us is to get papa walking 🚶 like he was before he became ill. We understand papa has been through a lot after being diagnosed with sepsis on 11th Jan and then suffering a stroke on 18th Feb so we understand his body has become very weak from all these setbacks but we request support from homeopathy to make his legs stronger, to make his lower back stronger so he has power to get up himself from chair abd we just want him to be able walk independently without the need of feeling frightened he going to fall. As soon as he can walk it will make life so much easier and better for him.

Based on his symptoms, I was thinking of prescribing Alumina 30c as I have been reading a lot on homeopathy because I want to help him. But I’m scared of giving him Alumina 30c because I remember papa had very bad experience when one homeopathic Doctor few years back prescribed papa Plumbum Metallicum 1M. So I never give remedy to papa without seeking your guidance and help 🙏🏽

Thank you in advance.
