Dryest Cough Ever!
Hello gentlemen, I am really needing some help…I had a really bad cold a couple of weeks ago and now all cold symptoms are gone except last week. My left ear got very plugged and remained that way. I prefer homeopathic, but not knowing what to do. I in desperation have taken Sudafed for three days, which apparently has cleared it for now. I have since stopped as of today.
However, along with that the cough is desperately dry, so dry I’m extremely uncomfortable. Typically it is two coughs at a time with hardly any phlegm at all. Definitely none to speak of in the evening and if there’s any at all in the morning, it’s such a tiny amount And it is not stringy.
it is a violent cough. It does not have a wheezing sound, it does not have a sound like a machine or foghorn at all just a violent dry cough, and typically two coughs at a time.
I feel a very oppressed feeling in my chest, and if I breathe very deeply, it will make me cough, I am more chilly than warm, my eyes water, a little bit at times, but I have no nasal phlegm and my mouth is very dry.
it is desperately a dry feeling, and at times there is a little bit of leaking urine because it is so violent.
Can you kindly offer a remedy suggestion? Thank you so very much!

FIRST FEEDBACK AFTER 7 DAYS.
NUX VOM 200
15 drops in a cup containing an ounce of water, sip one third of it, 15 minutes later sip the next third of it, and 15 minutes later take the last third of it.HALF AN HOUR BEFORE DINNER.
DAY 2.
SULPHUR 200.EARLY MORNING EMPTY STOMACH SINGLE DOSE.
DAY 3 ONWARDS
PHOSPHORUS 30
Dose five (5) drops/pellets , taken at the same time 3 Times daily.
Take the remedies until symptoms are improved.
Keep all doses 30 minutes before or after food, drink and teeth brushing.
IN ADDITION MAG PHOS 6X AND NAT MUR 6X FIVE TABS OF EACH THREE TIMES A DAY FROM DAY 1.

Dear Anuj, A couple of things… before my cold I noticed I was having terrible dryness of my mouth and could not relieve it no matter how much water I drank. In fact, in the morning, my tongue would actually stick to the roof of my mouth. I don’t know if this is associated because this symptom was actually worse prior to the cold, it’s still occurring, but not as much.
I did not notice much change when I took the sulfur dose. You recommended today but tonight I am having severe left sided rib pain. Should I continue with the phosphorus or something else? I’m to take it in the morning. Thank you so very much for your kind attention.

I wanted to report to you that the cough has improved. At least I am able to sleep most of the night now. I am noticing certain times of the day mostly in the morning, but sometimes in other times during the day I am coming up with sputum, it is multiple times in small yellow blobs, With very difficult expectation. Numerous times it increases, and then, later on the cough mostly is very dry again but at least the fits are sporadic now.
I have gone for periods of a hour or more without coughing at all, which is very rewarding. I can continue with Bryonia or another remedy, or simply allow my body to heal at this point. Thank you so very much for helping me.

Dear Anuj, I continued your instructions exactly as prescribed. My cough improved. I had asked a question about Bryonia, and I think it helped a little bit, but then I had a trip scheduled and could not continue conferring, so I went back to phosphorus.
The Cell Salts, sulfur, then Bryonia for a couple of days, but then I stagnated, and going back to phosphorus while on my trip was the ticket to complete the cure.
After two weeks, your recommendations completely eliminated my cough. I am so happy because I had it for over two or three months and had lots of test scheduled.
This was a mega cough and so unbelievably uncomfortable disrupting sleep and I was worried that on the airplane people would think I had Covid.
Phosphorus was the final thing to help. Thank you ever so much. I am so grateful to you for all you do for me and others. May you have tenfold blessings, and good health!
