Aurum Metallicum
I was given Aurum Metallicum by a professional homeopath almost three weeks ago. Im being treated for menopausal symptoms (54 years old) of hair fall, hot flushes, and slightly elevated blood pressure. All three of these symptoms came at the same time. Nat Mur, Silicea, Pulsatilla and Aconite were tried before Aurum. None of these decreased my symptoms.Since taking Aurum, I have had heaviness in my chest (feels like a weight on my chest) and a racing pulse. It feels like I have just run a marathon, even when I am sitting still. It is not subsiding at all yet.
This is a scary symptoms. Is there an antidote? Thank you.

FIRST FEEDBACK AFTER 7 DAYS.
NUX VOM 200
15 drops in a cup containing an ounce of water, sip one third of it, 15 minutes later sip the next third of it, and 15 minutes later take the last third of it.HALF AN HOUR BEFORE DINNER.FOR 3 NIGHTS.
DAY 4 ONWARDS
LACHESIS 200.
Dose five (5) drops/pellets , taken at the same time 3 Times A WEEK.
Take the remedies until symptoms are improved.
Keep all doses 30 minutes before or after food, drink and teeth brushing.
IN ADDITION FERRUM PHOS 6X AND KALI PHOS 6X FIVE TABS OF EACH THREE TIMES A DAY FROM DAY 1.

I did not have Nux or Lachesis in 200, so I just ordered them. I will be traveling for the holiday, but will take the remedies on my return and check in seven says after. I have started the Ferrum Phos 6x and Kali Phos 6x.
Am I right to assume that Nux is to help with the symptoms Aurum left behind, and Lachesis is for the menopausal symptoms?

Hello - it has been a little over a week of the Lachesis, and my hot flashes are getting worse.
Before, I just had them from 5 pm to 11 pm and I would get hot.
Now, I have them throughout the day and in the early morning hours and I get hot, red face, and sweaty.
The tightness and racy-feeling in my chest are gone since Nux.

The frequency and intensity of the hot flashes are about the same, but I have a little bit of anxiety that hits me right before the hot flash now.
I didnt mention it before, but since taking Lachesis, I have a headache in the back of my head, at the occipital area. This is almost gone now.
No change in hair fall that is visible.

Also, one more thing I have noticed is that I feel sad and a bit weepy. I am not actually crying, I just have these moments were all of the sudden my mood is sad and I feel like I want to cry, but I dont and I dont know why I want to cry. There is nothing I am thinking about that triggers this. It is just all of the sudden there.

Thank you for your response. The prior homeopath tried Sepia. While on it I became extremely irritable and critical of my husband and I got a lot of trapped, painful wind in my belly. No change in hot flash symptoms.
I realize that I made a mistake in reporting which remedies had been tried by my homeopath. I went back to my notes to double check. I wrote Pulsatilla and that was incorrect. It was Sepia.
Correction: Sepia, Nat Mur, Silicea, Aconite, and Aurum were prescribed. (We had discussed Pulsatilla, but she went with Sepia instead.)

Thank you. This remedy will not be easy to get, it will take me a bit.
In the meantime, I am very weepy and depressed since Lachesis. It is not getting better and is still worsening. I am also very bloated, with pressure in my liver area, and am having trouble passing stool.
I have palpitations in my chest all of the time and they are worse with hot flashes, which have increased.

Hello-I am taking Sepia 30 for four days (I was traveling for a bit and got a late start with Sepia). My hot flashes have gotten significantly worse. I wake up at night with sweating 4-5 times.
Prior, I only had flushes in the daytime (mostly evening and before bed) and no sweating.
No decrease in hairfall - it might be a bit worse.
I stopped the cell salts as I was having a lot depression (new symptom). I dont know if it was Lachesis or the cell salts, but that depression has reduced.
