The ABC Homeopathy Forum

To all homeopaths : Are K and C dilutions the same?

Hello everyone,

I have a very serious question about dilutions.

According to you, is an ARNICA 200C and ARNICA 200K the same thing?

In France, pharmacies, BOIRON the laboratory and even doctors are 100% assured it's not the same thing.

In a very serious article I read, they say that :

4CH=6K, 5CH=30K, 7CH=200K et 9CH=1000K.

My homeopath did explain me they're the same and explained me why, but I forgot the exact explanation...

Please, if more than one homeopath can clarify that, the more, the better.

Thanks beforehand.

It does not really clarify. It does not explain if it is the same thing or not...

K dilution for next potency 1 part with 99 parts of alcohol
C dilution for next potency 1 part with 100 parts of alcohol

Mother tincture to 1 K 1:99
Mother tincture to 1C 1:100
Mother tincture to 1CK. 1:100

So in a nutshell, it's "almost" the same thing, right?

You have hit the nail in the head
BUT
After 30 potency the difference is high and C is definitely higher than K
