Arnica safe before surgery

This is probably the most frustrating question a student in homeopathy could ask.
Family member is undergoing an angioplasty in left leg to insert a stent in a few weeks. I thought arnica was safe, she takes hypericum for pain. Am I okay to continue giving her the 6c Arnica for pain and her Hypericum. I have been able to manage her pain quite well with most homeopathic remedies and some mixes from Nayarani Swami.
My concern is, will the arnica or the hypericum cause any unecessary bleeding, is it safe to continue to give her these. There is a concurrent arguement like a tennis match, some homeopaths say Arnica is safe others are now not sure. Surely to goodness something that contains no Arnica but the energy of Arnica is perfectly safe. Can someone like Joe or someone assure me that I am doing the right thing. I know I should probably take some Aconite myself on the day of the procedure because I am rather anxious about the procedure and I am not the patient xxx Andrea.
