How to use gelsemium for teenager

I have been giving my 13 year old son Gelsemium 30c an hour before his soccer games to help with his confidence and apprehension. He is so afraid of making mistakes that he will intentionally not go after the ball. He loves the sport, but feels he is not good enough. Gelsemium seems to help him relax and gain confidence. But I want to make sure that I am giving him the correct dosage. I am also not sure how often I should give it to him. Here is his profile:

Sensitive to dairy and gluten, especially in the morning. Sometimes it causes diarrhea and headaches if he consumes too much of it.

Born with eczema as a baby, but has improved almost 90% with diet change. Occasionally he will break out in extremely itchy hives that cover 75% of his body. But we are not sure what! The hives disappear after 24 hours. This happens once or twice a year.

New situations gives him anxiety. He is very, very forgetful and often has trouble understanding math assignments.
Simple minded, not very imaginative.

Eats a healthy diet, but is short stature for his age and under weight.

Very sensitive and cries easily. However, very gentle, loving and cries easily. Lacks determination.

Thank you!

Hi Pramod Jha,

It's been 15 days since my son has taken silicea 30 for 5 days.

I have noticed that his scaly, dry skin has improved - even without him using his lotion.

I have noticed some slight improvement with his memory, but not much. Although it is difficult to assess any real changes due to the pandemic, we have mainly been home with very limited interaction with his friends. Sports has also been canceled, so we have not had a chance to see if it made any difference in his confidence and apprehension.

Please advise what the next step should be. Thank you!

Hello,

It has been over 10 days since my son has taken Silicea 200 for 3 days. He seems to be more attentive in his school work, no late assignments and his grade has slightly improved. Since sports has been canceled due to Covid, I'm not able to see if there is improvement in his confidence.

His skin looks good, no recent complaints. On a few occasion he would have redness / pain in his eyes. When he was younger, his eyes were so itchy and inflamed when he's near cats or pollen (especially in the spring). His eye sight is excellent (20/20) and doesn't need glasses. As he's gotten older, the itchy eyes has improved and would only bother him for a few days.

What should the next step be?

While having a conversation with my son, he told me he has trouble falling asleep at night. He goes to bed at 9pm and would toss and turn for 2 hours before finally falling asleep around 11pm. According to him, this has been going on for many months now. I wonder if his inability to fall asleep at night is causing the lack of attention at school.
