Ischemic Stroke of 70 years aged woman
My mother, aged around 70, underwent an ischemic stroke on October 12, 2019. It resulted in a left side paralysis. She can't move her left leg almost at all, although left hand, affected to the same extent, has recovered a little better.She can't straighten her left hand, movements all the way are still restrained. From the elbow point its getting bent day by day. Capacity to hold something is little, having an overall weakness. Cant bend her fingers in full.
Condition of her leg is even worse. When lying its bent from her knee. From the ankle her foot is getting bent to the inside. It seems this ankle bone is a bit swallowed. When in standing position her left leg is bent from her knee and she touches the floor with the front portion of her foot and last half is always in upward position.
She had been suffering from bone decay for almost 25 years. Bone decay in her both knees and in her waist. She has muscle spasm in her legs.
Now her left side muscles are stiff she cant move her head to the left. Muscles of her shoulders downward feels hard.
Frequent urge of urination.
She has chronic insomnia for around 30 years. Now she passes almost all the night sleepless. Her speech is retarded.
She had hot temper. Very sympathetic, sophisticated, was fond of music. She liked reading books.
Cause of stroke: at the time she was upset for a sense of deprivation. She was very frustrated about a piece of land she got from her husband that she shared with her brother in law. But he didn’t compensate for it properly. Besides, she had some other familial crises leading intense anxiety. From last February she started showing some symptoms that we couldn’t recognise. Her speech was retarded. About a month ahead of her stroke, once she fell down from bed. The day she had the stroke she again fell down from the chair and got paralysed.
Treatment taken:
Aelopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Physiotherapy.
Physio opined that she is showing no improvement due to her bone decay resulting weakness of her back, and waist.
Homeo remedies taken: Arnica, causticum, argent nitricum, lathyrus.
I'll be grateful if someone responds with a remedy for my dear mom.

Hello Docto,
I've given my mother kali phos 6x first night. Then daytime no medicine- because I couldn’t manage Belladonna3x. Then in the second night again Kali phos 6x. Today I gave her Belladonna3x at 7 am and again at 2.45 p.
With kaliphos she showed some good signs- she was able to uplift her back when sitting - with a little support and was able to stand more firmly. She could touch floor with her whole foot. She also can sit in bed on her own with almost no or a little support.
After the first dose of Belladonna she seemed more refreshed than other days. She had inflammation and complaints of feeling hot for last few days. But in the morning she was relieved. But no significant improvement regarding her paralysis. Now after having second dose of Belladonna, she is very restless. She asks to have laid in the bed, then after few minutes she asks to shift her to chair etc.
A little improvement was found with her frequent urination. But still she has urge for urination in every hour or even less.
Now should I give her last dose of Belladonn? If yes, when?

she also had headache on left side after Belladonna second dose. And also complained for having all her head jammed. She had bad breath for long years that returned. I didn’t dare to continue third dose of Belladonna. Should it be continued?
In the morning today she is having her abdomen filled with gas.
Also please advise about interval of Belladonna, if you think it to be continued.

If she has aggravation, don't repeat Belladonna now.
Continue Kali Phos 6X
Make a modified remedy bottle:
Take a 100ml bottle(Fresh) from homeo pharmacy. Take half litre distilled water too. Now fill the 100ml bottle with 100ml distilled water (Some free space should be kept)
Give only 3drops of Belladonna 3X in the bottle
Now jerk the bottle 12 times.
Level it as - Medicine: Bell 3X
From Next morning: Jerk the bottle 4times and let her drink only 1sip from it.
Preserve the bottle in a cool place.
So
From Tomorrow:
1. Modified Remedy: Bell 3X
Jerk the bottle 4times and give only 1sip grom it.
Every morning in empty stomach
2. Kali Phos 6X
6tablets every night and let her drink a cup of warm milk/water

You have not realised what I told. Not 3pills. You should make modified remedy of Belladonna 3X. Please read the last post attentively.

I was away from home for last few days. So I was unable to respond to your queries.
First, in my absence, belladonna modified doses were postponed by my sister. Because my mother got very restless. Also they started giving her aspirin as advised by alopath doctor for headache.
Kali phos continued.
No significant improvement with this.
In my next post, I'm going to give you more updates.

Milk, curds. But she can consume cooked ghee and some sweets made of milk. Likes rice more than breads. Breads cause acidity, as she says.
Her conditions worse in the winter. She sweats lot. Now a days she likes to be in air conditioned room, though after sometimes she asks to switch off the air cooler as room temperature gets low. She always asks for a tilt when in bed if air conditioner is on.
She was fond of sour foods. Also liked hot. Was fond of rich, spicy foods - but all her life she suffered from indigestion.

If you are in Chittagong, go to Laldighi. Ask somebody to find LM potency.
At first talk with me via mail. If you fcan not get it, tell me. I will try to send it via S.A paribahan.

Causticum 30- Pills
Give just 3pills in a morning in empty stomach.
Don't repeat it. Just single dose. Let me know the action within 3 days.
And don't fly away anytime. This case is not as simple as you are neglecting. You should always keep in touch with prescriber.

Thank you for your kind response. I promise not to be irregular again in keeping you updated.
Once - perhaps after one or two months my mother got paralysed , she was given several doses of Causticum 30. There was no response to this.
Do you still suggest giving this remedy again?
Also, should we continue kali phos?
She has complaints of inflammation recently. That is, she says she is feeling of inflammation in some parts of her body. For example, today she feels so at upper back . I then applied a wet towel on that part to rub it for sometimes and she got relieved.
Her expressions of emotion has become a little crude. Let me please explain, when something pleases her, she starts laughing what in normal case should only have been smiling or something subtle like that. Sometimes she speaks like she is in the past - that is, she perhaps has lost memories of a certain period of time of her life events. Although in most cases its normal.
She has lost her appetite.
In almost everyday, she feels pain on her neck, shoulder, and she has headache too.

Yes. Give Causticum 30 single dose only. And collect Belladonna LM 0/2. Continue Kali Phos 6x accordingly.
