Fever which is not going away - Please Help
Hi,My wife has been suffering from fever for past 3 days. She had delivered baby boy a month back.
The fever started with light body ache for which I gave her Ferrum Phos 6X and BC11.
I also gave her two doses of Nux Vom 200 at good interval apart. But the fever doesnt seem to go away but herther is going up and down throughout the day.
Morning it starts at around 99.6 and in afternoon around 3 it 101.8. After 6 it starts reducing.
The temperature turns little high as soon as she walks to bathroom or kitchen for even 10 minutes.
In the evening second day I gave her 4 drops of phosphorus 200 and kali Phos 6x as she was so worried about the fever that she cried a bit.
She slept after that and I went to see a homeopath and he suggested Bryonia 200 and Gelsemium 200 starting from that evening.
I started giving her Bryonia and Gelsemium after every 30 minutes alternatively as suggested. That seemed to reduce the fever but I am not sure it because of phosphorus or Bryonia & Gelsemium.
On the third day Bryonia 200 and Gelsemium 200 has to be given in morning, afternoon and evening keeping a gap of 30 minutes. I followed the same.
But if I look closely none of the remedies may be working. The temperature in the morning around 8am is 99.5 which increases gradually to 101.6 by evening 6pm then reduces. Around 3 am in the morning it goes to 100.6 and morning 8am 99.5 approx.
I need help in the above case.
Details of my wife (Anjali)
- Age: 34
- Height: 5'3"
- Generally healthy
- Weight: 57kg
- Likes cool temperature and open air
- Resting and sleeping heals everytime
- Has good immunity otherwise. Many times in flu or viral seasons when all of the family gets sick she doesn't get any symptoms
Please let me know in case anything else is required from my end. I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me here.

PL give her
1. Giloy Satva (Gulvel Satva) one pinch in one teaspoon honey twice a day
2. Gentiana-Q 5 drops in 2 teaspoon water twicwe a day
3. Compund no 11 3 pallets twice a day
Pl keep 30-40 minues gap between 1,2 and 3
Pl give above treatment for 3 to 4 days and then give feedback

Pulsatilla 30- Pill
3pills 3times a day in empty stomach
Let not her to eat or drink anything within 20 minutes.
Update after every dose.
You have tried huge remedies in a short period. It is a bad practice. As she has new born breast feeding child.
Being panicked doesn't give any solution. Should be calm every time to handle any situation.
Don't give anything with my suggested medicine. Update time to time.
Should do another thing:
Rub her all body with an wet full cotton cloth after every 20minutes when body temperature is above 99'F. And then dry her body immediately with another dry cloth. Do it after every 20 minutes. Update and let me know.

Thanks a lot for your response doctor. I need to buy Pulsatilla 30. I'll give that remedy and will update as suggested.
