Daughter bites her nails short

My 13 years old daughter bites her nails quite often (especially when doing school work and watching tv). She used to suck her thumb when young and once she stopped she started biting nails.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Does she seem nervous?

Sometimes it does seem like she’s nervous, anxious or focused. She doesn’t even know she is doing it.

Moderator: something funny is happening. If I peruse this ( and one more) thread WITHOUT logging in I find posts by anuj also in this thread. Seeing this I logged in. Then posts by anuj disappear! As I write this there's no other post except mine and Lemifi's.
2. For anuj: you have made your suggestion. Why not tell all why the sufferer should follow you only and your aim to be seen everywhere can be achieved.Give some explanation.
Please realise there's much to learn. Give some reference to support your prescription.

That is correct, Vishnu. You have been prevented from seeing each other's posts as the atmosphere was becoming increasingly unfriendly.

Repeated requests for better manners were ignored.
Please allow this to work, or the next step would be suspensions.

Is there one recommendation I should follow for her or do both?

Try one at a time and see - if no result
Try the other suggestion.

Moderator:
I know it's going to be difficult;but try being neutral.
People come to ABC not because names of anuj, freeHomeo, tui are famous internationally, they come for ABC. Try bringing about some order.

Vishnu,

Treating you and 2 of the other parties you mention equally is the very definition of neutrality.

My priority is indeed to bring about order. If you put yourself in my position for a moment, you can see that, if preventing you seeing each other's posts does not work, I can either suspend one member or I can suspend three. What would you do?

Moderator: Thank you, I'm satisfied.
You may want to hear out some suggestions from me.

Maheeru: I'm a learner. Good to see someone experienced agreeing.

Vishnu4 My inputs are limited to homeopathic domain. I would not wade into interpersonal conflict especially when moderator is seized of the matter.

I only said about prescription.

Ok vishnu4 good luck. Homeopathy is a great leveller, sometimes beginners, learners can also do good work compared to experienced people and also qualified doctors! As long as divergent opinions and disagreements remain respectful no worries.
