sinuses
I am 64 years female, I leave in South Africa, in Mpumalanga province, tends to be quiet cold here. I suffered from serious cold and flu for a year and this developed to sinus and serious nose and chest blockage. It was diagnosed as sinusitis as well as highly allergic to general air pollution. During this period I have lost my sense of smell. A year later I had a surgery to remove polyps from the nose. One month only after the surgery I had free breathing and my sense of smell came back just for three weeks and it was gone again. Although my noses are no longer blocked, my chest is still congested my sense of smell and taste are gone, occasionally I could smell something for a short period and it is gone again. I went back to my ENT surgeon within three months of the surgery; they suggested that I should have another surgery. WHAT? I could not accept another surgery. This has been going on for the past 6 years now. I seriously need, I will appreciate your help, please help.dlozi on 2019-11-24

It's hard to grasp what exactly happening with your case so please explain as much as you can.
What are the symptoms of sinusitis (besides the loss of smell)and chest congestion?
Is there any pain anywhere? If yes, where is it and what kind of pain?
Any discharges from the nose? If yes, what color and consistency?
What makes things better or worse?
And how and when did it all start? after colds and flu?

Hello Dr Tui, I really do not know if I could explain well my current situation.
Besides the loss of smell and chest congestion, I do not have any pains on the chest, only at night I just feel uncomfortable with wooziness on the chest and difficulty in breathing. I cough sometimes not always. There is no discharge from the nose only mucus from the chest; however I try my best to spit them out always.
What makes thing better: Besides my treatment regime, the use of Inhaler and Nebulizing.
What makes worse is dust and general smokes. Also during exercise I cough a lot also experiencing terseness on the chest. Also whistling of my chest is more during the night.

try Justicia adhatoda 30c three times a day for 3 days, then Pulsatilla 30c 3 times a day for a few days and later you may need Medorrhinum 1M but see how you go with Justicia and Pulsatilla first.
Report back in 15 days.

Thank you so much Dr Tui, I will start the treatment as from Wednesday, as I am in rural area here. I will be going to town on Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope I will find all your recommendation. I wonder if you received my CT-Sinus medical report. I tried to send it several times was not posting. Thank you I appreciate this.

Dr Tui, My sincerely apologies for taking so long to get back to you. As I indicated we are on rural area, I could not get my Homeopathy prescription from any "so called homeopathy Pharmacy here. Unfortunately I am not technological educated, so I could not order online. I eventually got Pulsatilla and Medorrhinum, no Justicia. Should I start taking Pulsatilla while waiting for Justicia? Thank you for all.

No one can predict how long you need to be taking the remedy because everybody reacts differently. According to your reaction to pulsatilla, you may need to change the potency, repetitions. If it doesn't work at all, then you need to change the remedy.
Basically;
When your symptoms changes, you need to change the remedy.
When you started to get aggravations, meaning you may experience a temporary worsening of already existing symptoms( usually your chief complaint ), you need to stop and wait until it subsides.
When you start to have new symptoms that you have never had before starting the remedy, you need to stop the remedy and wait until it subsides.
So when you self medicates, you need to observe your conditions very carefully and be alert for any changes.
Basically;

Thank you so much DrTui. I do not have right words to express my experience I had. I took Pulsatilla for 15 days with out any much effect except very tired chest during the day and evening. At one point I almost stop taking it. However after that I started to smell some of my food. After 2 days the smell was stronger and off again. Now what is happening is on and off. However I am so grateful after so many years without smelling. I thought I did not loose taste, the truth I did now I can taste and enjoy food. I think the past years I ate because of hunger, not because of taste. I cannot not that you enough. Thank you. I have sent response before this but it did not go through.

Hallo Dr Tui, yes. I did not have Pulsatilla until 10th March. I started on 11th. So far I have not seen much changes since my last report. However my chest is still not clearing. Also I have received my Justicia order, I have not started with the Justicia yet.

Peoples like you are in very risk situation now. Save yourselves from others. Be in home. Don't go outside and don't meet with others. Don't allow anybody to come in home now. If it is urgent, be about 1 meter apart from each.
If you want, please store some medicines in home:
1. Arsenicum Album 30- Pill Form
2. Bryonia Alba 30- Pill Form
3. Camphor 1M- Pill Form
Actually don't know if these can help 100% in emergency. As, homeopathy works according to symptoms. But I have chosen these by observing different video clips of Corona affected persons. I have seen maximum symptoms are similar in all patients.
1st stage of Corona: Arsenicum Album
2nd Stage of Corona: Bryonia
Last Stage of Corona: Camphora
