Dr Maheeru. H Pylori infection with ulcers. Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Just to be sure, she has HYPER thyroidism and not HYPO. Is Lycopodium advised for HYPER thyroidism also?

She took her first dose today. :-)

She's on PYLERA antibiotics for her H Pylori. She has to take it for 10 days.

For your questions :

No she doesn't have heart symptoms (cartinin).

I will first give her Co enzyme Q10, around 100 mg a day.

Lycopus mother tincture is not advised yet?

You can introduce carnitine later seeing how she adjusts to Q10 with a suitable gap.

We'll see first Lyc';s work before we decide to support with Lycopus(support would be specific for thyroid). Yes Lyc. works both ways Hypo and Hyper but this medicine is based on her general complaints including thyroid, it's not specific to thyroid. A lot of remedies work that way --both ways sometimes multiple ways because we may have close to 36 remedies that are very frequently employed to cover more than 3600 conditions.

After her pretty agressive H Pylori antibiotics treatment, I would like her to support the liver (20 days of Desmodium and 10 days of Carduus Marianus mother tincture), and also a good quality probiotics for a month.

Do you think she can introduce Co Enzyme Q 10 while she's on liver support + probiotics?

Cardus can wait. Lyc itself is a good liver remedy, if she continues it benefits may accrue. CoQ10 can be used if there is no allergic issues. But introduce things one by one than at the same time to find out if any addition is causing any issue.

She's getting a urine infection. Usually, she takes antibiotics single dose to kill the infection, I asked her to wait until I talk to you. Is there something we could give her in homeopathy for urine infection?

She's on Lycopodium, liver support (desmodium) and probiotics.

Since I don't have enough info. on urinary infection let her go ahead with her single dose Anti Biotics this time. But get her usual symptoms associated with urinary infection so that we may see what we can do.

When she gets her infection, she wants to urinate all the time, but in small quantity, he can not urinate like normal (more quantity), it's really small quantity with stinging at the end of urination, and a little blood sometimes at the end.

She gets it once or twice a year usually, but this year, the last time she got it was two months ago.

So she can go for antibiotics? Family friends are advising Cantharis 30 or 200, but since she's on Lycopodium, I don't want to take a risk.

Let her try Puls. 30 four doses first two days and three doses next two days. If there is relief it could be continued beyond two days else anti biotics.

Oops... Too late. She went for antibiotics... Next time we can try to put her on homeopathy before she takes antibiotics.

She kind of stopped the Lycopodium treatment as she once again stopped talking to me due to a petty issue... She has been behaving like a child sometimes since out childhood when you don't agree with her dominating attitude.

She took 5-6 doses of Lycopodium 30, one month of Co enzyme Q 10 and probiotics.

Her last thyroid test was in normal range (normal range starting from 0.30 or 40 and she's at 0.60 whereas she used to be at 0.20 when diagnosed).

Her H Pylori has been cleared with antibiotics, she tested it again and its negative, and her stomach issues are much much better since clearing the H Pylori. She takes anti acids but very rarely, once or twice a week. She still has cough as soon as she lies down.

What shall be the next steps on the homeopathic front?

Can she take another month of Co Enzyme Q10?

syria 2 years ago
Yes she can continue CoQ10.

Homeopathically there is not much to change my view from Lyc. She needs to take 30, 200 even if it's infrequent doses.

What is keeping her thyroid on range(in your view taking into account her input)? Allopathic supplement or something else?

Try to have good relations so that she continues medicines :)

I will :-)

I think a lot of things helped together. Clearing that chronic H Pylori and having an improvement in gastritis (therefore taking anti-acids very occasionally now) helped.

The combination of Lycopodium 30 and Q10 helped also I feel (+ the liver detox and probiotics).

So i can give her Lycopodium 30c twice weekly, for 10 more doses, and then after a week gap, start Lycopodium 200c once weekly right?

syria 2 years ago
Yes. If she doesn’t keep up the gap between any two doses, still infrequent doses would help.

For 200c make the dosage interval approx 10 to 14 days.
