Toddlers cough
My son is 3 yrs old..i was giving him calcarea carb30 to settle his stool.. He developdd dry cough with no other symptoms so i gave him 2 doses of hyper sulph30.. Now his cough has become chesty with mucus... In short bursts.. More at night than in day with gas.. Not sleeping well at night.. Itchy skin..after crying mucus from nose was white and thick.. Complains of stomach ache before passing stool.. Stool was ok yesterday..His homeopath gave him natrum carb as his constitutional type when he was 1.5yrs old for ring worms... Now i want to know which med should be given natrum carb or calcarea carb.
His homeopath died last yr and i cud not find any classical homeopath in isb yet.. Thanks
When he falls to sleep after coughing.. Little sounds come from him..

From 17th august.. First day Calcarea Carb 30 three doses.. Then for two weeks calcatea carb3x three times.. Then from 31st aug.. Reapted the same cycle for 7 days.. Gave him calcarea carb30 again 6 ot 7th..he was better but on 8 he had juice and the coughing returns.. Did not give him anything except heparsulph30..

sorry, I am unable to understand whether it get worse or better.
Is it ringing or whistling cough; spasmodic, dry barking; of measles; at night; absence of sputa or sputa thin?
Suffocating cough awakes him from sleep? amelioration from lying of back? aggravation after eating or drinking; at night, from exposure to dry cold winds, walking in open air, in a upright position, from deep inspiration, from speaking?

Crisp cough.. Sputa yes.. Lying in bed and after having food makes ot worse.. Kind of choking/suffocating.. Long non-stop or 2-3 secs.. Gets better by drinking.. Better in open air

HOW TO TAKE THE REMEDY:
Please take two doses. Just two doses. Not daily.
WHAT IS A DOSE:
Get the remedy in liquid:
Put five drop of the remedy in 10 ml of mineral water, hit the bottle atleast 6 time (shaking the bottle is not enough) and keep it for 5 minutes. Take 5 ML from it. That’s one dose.
for second dose:
Use the same mixture, just hit the bottle atleast 6 time and keep it for 5 minutes. Take 5 ML from it.
TIME OF DOSE:
First dose: as soon as you get the remedy.
Second dose: 12 hrs after the first dose.
PRECAUTIONS:
If there is significant worsening of symptoms (called homeopathic aggravation) after the first dose, then don’t take the second dose.
Don’t take any other homeopathic remedy during this treatment.
During the treatment, don’t eat anything which you have never had all your life.
HOMEOPATHIC AGGRAVATION
Sometimes the symptoms for which treatment is being done can worsen after taking the homeopathic remedy. This is homeopathic aggravation and a good sign. It usually dies down within 24-48 hrs. During this time you can use any non-medicinal means to keep yourself comfortable. If the aggravation seems excessive, you can use any & all means necessary (including taking allopathic medicines) to keep yourself comfortable. Keep your homeopath fully updated if this happens.
HOW TO GIVE FEEDBACK:
A good example of how to report your progress is by giving %age improvement or worsening for all your health problems e.g.
Emotions: e.g. Feeling of happiness improved 40%
Energy level: e.g. Feeling of tiredness reduced 70%
Main health problem: e.g. Nasal discharge reduced 50%
Other health problems: e.g. acne">Acne increased 60%
Anything new: Depression: e.g. Loose stool started
And so on list all your complaints.
HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE GETTING CURED:
Any cure in homeopathic treatment will always follow this rule (Hering’s Law of Cure) otherwise it’s not cure, just palliation. The cure must proceed from centre to circumference. From centre to circumference is from above downward, from within outwards, from more important to less important organs, from the head to the hands and feet.
GENERAL INFO ABOUT HOMEOPATHIC PRESCRIBING:
If someone is giving several remedies, without waiting to see the effect of one remedy, then it is totally against the core principles of homeopathy. Such an approach is unlikely to give permanent cure, rather it may distort actual symptoms making subsequent cure even more difficult.
Don't drink water along with the medicine. Don't drink or eat any thing for 30 minutes before the medicine and after the medicine.
Note: Avoid Strong smell, Coffee, Raw Garlic, Raw Onion, Hing and Tobacco in any form.
Report back after 15 days with the changes observed during this period.
If you don't get the remedy immediately then take a single dose of calcarea carb.

I gave him remedy yesterday.. 30% improvement.. Daytime cough is better.. When he woke up today he coughed a lot but not while sleeping. He has become bit more stubborn and clingy. He went to toilet today after two days. Two days ago his stool was loose etc but today he is fine.

One more question :
My daughter 7.5yrs old had throat pain and sputum when she woke up today. She was saying that i can spit it out. I have her honey water with breakfast and then brufen and a cough syrup to survive the school time. Her nose is not runny, all the mucus is in the chest and sore throat. I live in a joint family and my husband, mil, me and my 3 yrs old son all had this. My son and me are still coughing.Cough is very forceful. My husband and mil took antibiotics so they are fine. I want to avoid antibiotics so kindly suggest a remedy.Btw she was having nux vomica as she does not go to toilet everyday.

As discussed in previous thread 'toddlers cough'.. Have given him the med prescribed..that was aconite30 twice.. His night time coughing is gone but when he wakes up he coughs a lot with gas and complains of stomach ache. Kindly suggest. His breath is smelly too.
He is my child 1.
I have two more cases me and my daughter. Wud u suggest something for us too?

I gave him aconite30 on 15 sept..he is eating better now.. daytime cough better but not fully gone.. Coughs a lot when wakes up.. During night his cough is gone.. More stable.. Sleeping better but lots of gas at night..when wakes up during night for water.. He starts coughing.. Which usually gets better after passing gas or burping.. Complains of thigh pain twice in the last week.. There is a yellow patch on his tongue in the middle..one more thing he itches on his back and stomach

He is coughing in daytime.. Itches a lot his stomach and chest area and back.. Elbow folds and head even while sleeping.. Did not pass stool from the last two days.. Complains of stomach ache before going to toilet.. I did not give him anything except aconite30 on 15 sept.. Waiting anxiously for ur reply as he itches a lot and not stool passing..
