Chronic constipation since birth

Hello

I hope you can help. I have a 3 (almost 4) year old girl who has been suffering from constipation since she was 9 months old.
The usual techniques of improving water intake and ensuring she gets enough fibre have not helped.
She has poor muscle tone and is hypermobile which may be contributing to the problem.
She holds on to her poo for as long as possible and then of course it is painful to go which causes more fear.
We are using a natural stool softener which enables her to go painlessly every 3 to 4 days. Unfortunately this causes serious flatulence and she is at an age where this most be starting to make her feel self-conscious.

She also tries to avoid peeing and waits to the last possible second to go.
Her personality is strong-willed, she has zero patience, the slightest irk causes immediate tantrum (clothes are uncomfortable, she cant do something etc), she is sensitive to loud noises, and can be a fussy eater. The more constipated she is the worse her behaviour becomes. Normally she is a happy and intelligent child.

in the worst moments she has taken the following remedy with almost immediate success

Composition
Collinsonia canadensis DH3
Chamomilla DH30
Rheum officinalis 0
Sephia DH12

Thanks and regards

How is she overall? in other words how about her general health including parameters like appetite, sleep, energy, mood?

How is the bowel movement complaint? If there is relief, what percentage would you call it---20% or 50%, 80% and so on?

Fever episode---has it ended?

Hi

She is pretty unchanged overall from my original post. Her health is generally good for a preschool kid. Her energy is generally low. She has lower than average muscle tone due to hyper-mobility. She sleeps fine but recently has started to wake up at 22.00 and moan and cry to herself but goes back to sleep.
Her mood is generally good humored, she loves to make a joke and have fun. She does still scream the house down over the slightest thing - a small injury, a disagreement with her sibling, being told that she must not do something. She has outbursts like its the end of the world to her. And sometimes coughs and says she cant talk during the outburst.
She continues to have a mistrust of food, an aversion to new food and gets stressed at meal times. Sometimes when the meal is over she eats up her meal by herself. She craves sugar and treats.

She insists that she does not need to go to the toilet. She holds in her urine until she cant take it anymore and then runs to the toilet at the last second. Also for bowel movements. She does not appear to need to go more than once a week (when it becomes too much)- there is no dramatic relief when she goes.
Her stomach is nearly always protruding which could also be lack of muscle tone.

The fever lasted 48 hours and it gone

Give Lycopodium 200c doses. Give her one dose every week(Two pills/drops as a dose and one dose per week). Report every three doses. Continue till there is no aggravation and till some positive effect is seen even if it's just a tad bit.

Hello again

She has had 4 doses of Lyc 200c and there is a definite improvement.
Her mood is much better - she is much happier in her life with very little outbursts.
She still needs to be reminded to go for every pee but she has gone from saying "i cant go" to relaxing and getting her pee done.
Her bowel movements have increased to 2/3 a week which is a miracle! She has a flat stomach instead of being bloated.

I imagine that it will take her body some time to heal itself as she has been chronically constipated for so long. I will continue on and report back in 3 more doses and thank you so much!

Ok encouraging. Please make the gap between doses a bit longer from one week to 10 days.
