Mild autism ..Chamomilla
My son has mild to moderate autism.He is 4years..need based verbal ..uses two words to speak when he needs to..cannot carry out conversation or answer questions consistently..restless and covers ears to loud Noises like dogs barking ..sirens..pressure cooker whistle etc...We are giving him chamomilla 30..4 pills twice a day to be continued for about 2 weeks..as suggested by a doctor..He seems a little more restless now ..and irritable ..What can we do to reduce the restlessness,irritability and sensory problems?sunny19 on 2019-05-04

Too much chamomilla will produce irritability
And restlessness, etc.
It might be better to have him drink a cup
Of chamomilla tea( not more than 2 cups)
More than 2 cups will start irritability, restlessness
Etc.
Homeopathic dosing is always based on individual
Reaction to the dose. Each person will be different in reaction.
Telling you to give that many doses without educating
You on responses is wrong ( I do not know if your
Dr is a naturopath or ??) because they often prescribe as if one is taking vitamins or supplements and it is not how homeopathy
Works.
Dosing: Stop doses now and let the overdosing wear
Off. After a day or two , the calming effects of chamomilla should
Show up. See how long that lasts- keep track.
Then you give another dose when irritation returns. Then you
Watch the response- if calm , how long does it last?
You only dose when irritation comes back.

Thank you..After Chamomilla ,the doctor has suggested to give him Hyoscyamus 30 for 20 days..4 pellets twice a day..

For 20 days?? Child will start having bad effects
And things they never , ever had.
You see the way chamomilla was prescribed-

You think it is not working. So remedies will be

A year back I took my child to another homeopath who gave him Belladonna 30 twice a day for 21 days and then started Belladonna 200 for the same duration but it was stopped after 10 days because he stopped responding to name and showed up other problems..even talked less than before.I now can make out how the overdosage caused problems..After one year due to his increased restlessness and sensory problems and still not making up sentences we decided to consult a new doctor but the dosage seemed the same..I do not understand why they prescribe in such a way which would affect a child..Thanks for your advice.It has helped me a lot.

The body will register the remedy as a second similar disease.
The body will raise life force to clear the remedy
And target the real issue. So when the child
Responds after the first or second dose- his life force
Has been triggered to start clearing.
So why would anyone think more doses are needed?
The vital force is clearing- more doses are
Going to Overwhelm the life force and then
Start aggravating and bringing on new symptoms
Listed in the materia medica for that remedy.
I hope you find the right homeopath -

Can you please suggest any remedy for my son?
He is 4 yrs 6 months old .He is restless ,grinds teeth,covers ears due to sound sensitivity,picks nose ,sometimes lowers his head sitting in a crouched position.he has a tendency to lie down on the floor ..he is need based herbal uses one to two words ..but has no conversational skills..does not care to answer questions..
