maheeru I can not see people disappointed after a massive homeopathic treatment .. it is just an option and hope for disappointed ones.

In homeopathy history .. great homeopath also used to forward cases to others .. rather than sticking to it ..

I forward a case to you as well .. (cramping Neuro) I never took this case .. I started this old tradition of forwarding cases on this forum so that people can get some relief .. I'm saying and doing it just because of patients coming here on this forum ..and they have some hope in them ..

A true homeopath can not misbehave and can't mislead ..

Maheeru.
I am sorry for any confusion here.I am sticking to your regimen.
The hot flashes are about the same, a little less frequent in the morning but after lunch the intervals become shorter again. It has been almost 3 weeks since I last took the sulphur.

It was said there were a lot of side effects which was not true. This was a classic case of hasty repetition of a remedy when it was working beautifully which JT Kent says will ruin the case. Probably due to misunderstanding or misreading facts were misrepresented. And Hahnemann himself has said no remedy's triangle will overlap a patient's symptoms accurately and there will be edges here and there which may create accessory symptoms. So creation of new symptoms alone is not a bad thing.

She clearly said after a bad news she got stressed. The right way of homeopathy is to address this recent emotional block and not to mis lead. Skipping emotional aetiology that too in the recent period is the worst thing a homeopath can do and it will be wrong approach to homeopathy.

Of course homeopaths can differ in philosophy, methods, road map to cure/palliation and use of remedies and no homeopath is infallible and despite best efforts homeopaths may not get desired results with the first prescription itself. This does not mean end of the world. A lot of homeopaths can zig zag the patients towards relief using series of medicines. Despite best efforts still some patients can not be cured. This is an undeniable fact.

And trying to intrude or interfere in a thread that is moving on reasonably and trying to arm twist the patient into taking another person's help is bad behaviour. The case is not even six months old it's just started----should be left sufficient time to see results----instead one should not poke in just to thrust one's own favourite remedy on to a patient misunderstanding that unless a medicine works in a few days it's not a right remedy.

At the most the alternative would have been silicea(which again would be a remedy change that was not necessary) which is not the top grade medicine for climacteric complaints compared to Sulph. Her symptom profile clearly says she is sulph. constitution. So given the facts the interference was undue, irrelevant and a provocative act.

Irrespective of one's opinion, like, dislike, passion there is a basic courtesy, discipline and rules on the forum and one needs to respect that. If every one starts to interfere with every one else and try to convince the patient then it will be chaos and only disharmony. Of course the forum rules permit to express one's opinion or dissent courteously.

Forwarding cases is very different and will be voluntary unlike what happened here(forwarding cases will happen when there is a deadend). Trying to forcefully take up a case on not sound arguments is not the best of thing to do esp. when one is a new comer.

This forum provides for anyone to write his/her opinion on whatever product or thing they used to get better. So trying to create an armageddon of Puritan/Classical versus others won't work here. And we can not draw a line where puritan/classical ends and innovation takes over.

Yes winnieandco how many doses of Ignatia are up? And when was the last dose?

maheeru 6 years ago
people don't need lectures .. they need results ..
Carry on maheeru ... take it easy .. there is only one clear symptom .. and that is hot flashes ..

I also have practiced allopathy .. before coming to homeopathy. so I also have a very decent , deep and vast knowledge and experience of many things .. still consider my self as a student ..

Winnieandco and other wise people can understand better .. There is nothing personal .. I always feel proud to say sorry if I'm wrong. Carry on with this case .. no one going to interrupt you .. let's see ..

Regards

I have had four doses of ignatia. The last one was yesterday morning.

winnieandco 6 years ago
Ok winnieandco.

How are you feeling about the stress?

Please write down symptoms at this point and changes that have happened over the last three weeks.

maheeru 6 years ago
Good news. There has been some improvement. For the past 3 weeks the hot flashes have been regular, pretty much very 2 hours, day and night. I took the ignatia to help with the stress and I now feel much calmer and in control.
3 days ago I noticed things changing. Less flashes in the morning, irregular intervals between flashes during the afternoons, sometimes better sometimes worse but with less intensity. The following day I had fewer. It was apparent that they were worse after eating but then would settle down.
This morning I have so far had no flashes at all. It is now mid day.
First thing in the morning I usually have a flash but this morning it was more of a slight feeling of discomfort. I was waiting for the hit and it never happened. The only other really noticeable change has been my feet. Whereas I usually stick them out of bed because they are too hot, the last 2 nights they have felt unusually cold. Touching them they feel warm but they almost ache with the cold.

Ok good to hear winnieandco about relief. We'll wait before proceeding. Keep me posted about the changes.

After a few days of respite the flashes have started to increase again. Not in intensity but in frequency.
I waited to see if it was just a little hiccup but for the last 3 days they have been a little more frequent, starting with the flash in the morning on waking, it then calms down for a few hours and increases again after lunch and though the evening. They are better than they were at night, one flash once the bed gets warm but then I am usually ok as long as I can get to sleep. However I am having some trouble getting to sleep - and staying asleep. My feet no longer ache.

Ok winnieandco

You can take Sulph. 200c one dose now. Take it one pill/drop early in the morning in empty stomach. Do not take anything in for 40 minutes immediately after this dose.

Do not repeat the dose without talking to me and reporting changes.

Observe changes over two weeks and report.

I'm 2 days into the 2nd week after Sulphur 200.
The first day was wonderful. I went a whole nine hours with no discomfort at all. The second day started with a flash but then I had seven hours free before reverting to amore or less 2 hourly interval.
Day 3 was pretty much every 2 hours all day and all night. I also developed a severe headache in the afternoon which lasted right through until 10pm of the following day.
The following day again 2 hourly but in bed I developed severe itching which kept me awake all night. It went away the following morning.
Since then the flashes have remained stable until last night. It was like a 2 hour long flash. It was impossible to sleep and when it did eventually go away I was then freezing. I managed to get a couple of hours sleep and then it started all over again although the flash only lasted about an hour this time.
So far this morning I seem to be back to the 2 hourly schedule but feeling exhausted.

Maheeru??

winnieandco 6 years ago
Yes winnieandco

So isn't there any positive on energy, mood, sleep or any symptoms?

How many days have passed since the dose?

.

maheeru 6 years ago
It was improving but for the last 3 days the hot flashes have been especially bad at night, waking me up every hour or so and the heat has been intense. I haven't had any more headaches or itching but I really am not getting enough sleep.
Nothing I have ever tried seemed to hold and this time is just the same.

Was the improvement only for one day or it continued for some days?

You said something about it's 2 hours all day and night initially. After that you mentioned flashes remained stable. So when flashes remained stable they were absent or were less or were not increasing?

Possibly 12 days have elapsed since the last dose right?

If you had noticed improvement on the major complaints and you felt improvement on energy/mood and these are receding now, then a dose can be repeated. If not then we might have to look elsewhere.

The improvement lasted a little short of 2 days. When I said that the flashes remained stable I meant that they were continuing at roughly every 2 hours.

Currently they are still every 2 hours in the daytime but have got much worse at night. For 3 nights I have had extreme discomfort and very little sleep. Despite this my mood is good. I am just frustrated that I have had this for such a long time.

With all three Lachesis, Ignatia, Sulph doses which was the one that helped most with your important complaints like sleeplessness and hot flashes?

You can take a dose of sulph. 200 in water. To prepare a solution, dissolve a pill/drop in 200 ml water. Shake the bottle just before the dose for four times. Take one drop from this solution as a dose. Keep the bottle.

See if this dose improves things.

It's such a long time since taking the Lachesis that I really don't remember if I was having trouble sleeping back then. The problems were quite new. I know I felt quite hopeful that the lachesis was working until the anxiety put a stop to it.
I'm a bit disappointed with the Sulphur, it does seem to help just not for long enough.
I just read through my original questionnaire to see if anything struck me as different now. My answers now would be just the same. I have noticed one slight change though, my stuffy nose is not as bad as it was.

winnieandco 6 years ago
ok did you take another dose of sulph. in water? If yes was there any relief?

From another perspective i'm leaning towards sepia for your issues. How many doses did you take in 30c and what was the response?

maheeru 6 years ago
I took the sulphur in water 2 days ago and I can report that I have had some improvement. Only one flash yesterday and so far one today and much milder than usual. I also slept quite well last night. I am just hoping that this will continue.
Again it is a very long time since I took the sepia. I was taking 5 pillules at a time and I think I started out at one dose a day. I probably took 5 or six doses.

winnieandco 6 years ago
After a bit more thought I did not take the sepia that often. I recall that I had read that sepia does not repeat well so I remember waiting and waiting before taking the next dose. I wasn't sure if I actually did not take enough.
I had one flash yesterday evening and a couple early this morning whilst still in bed. None since then. The warmth of the bed is always a trigger factor.

winnieandco 6 years ago
Flashes coming more frequently this afternoon so the remedy effects lasted about 2 1/2 days.
