Teething 8 month old

Hello, my baby is having a horrible time teething and a friend recommended the Chamomilla teething tablets. I gave her two pellets last night and they seemed to relax her and she slept better than she has the past week. Question is should I up the dose to three before bed? How often and how long can she take these? Is giving them to her orally alone to dissolve in her mouth ok for continued usage? Thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What is the potency of the Cham?
6x,30c??
What else is in there?

Homeopathy does not work like allopathic medicine at all. More is not better. Yes you can give orally to dissolve in mouth. Remedies are given based on reaction. So one dose could help for a few days or child could need it a couple times a day depending on potency or reaction.
Eventually the teeth will break thru and this will be over. But, too much of chamomila will produce anger and irritation. The same goes for chamomila tea-2cups will relax an adult, more will cause the exact opposite reaction.

For the babies, teething is so hard for them. Giving her that medicine with that dosage is enough for the baby. You need to take up high dosage. The baby's situation is just temporary.

Ok, I didn't know it could produce the opposite affect as well. I will only give it to her before bed bc that's when she is the crankiest. I did try three tabs last night, but I won't give her more than that. Two may be better for her bc she did wake up more last night after receiving theee tabs.
