Hi, have started from today. Last night he was rattling his teeth too, can I give him dose of allopathic deworming medicine in parallel or any homeopathic medicine ?

Hi, my son took the medicine for last 7 days.
He had cold and cough to start with severe nose and eyes irritation.
First 2 days, his eyes nose irritation was really bad. Also slight running nose was there which is starting of his normal recurrent symptoms as described in initial post.
Day 3-5, nose and eyes irritation came down ( didn't go away though ) and cold gave way to cough. Last 2 days cough has increased, we gave him dose of duolin apart from one puff of Budecort. Cough is not severe but still is there.
Nose and eye irritation is there too but mainly when he is on bed.

Couple of additional points, might be repeating - almost every night without fail he sneezes during early night and it is wet sneeze. This happens between say 10.30 to 1 AM. Most of nights it is once or twice but at times 3-5 times also. He wakes up during those sneezes disturbed, almost shouting.

Many nights he rattles his teeth. I noticed during last few days too.

Activity wise he is fine and during day he is much better.

Pls suggest.

Yes there is overall improvement in eyes and nose itching irritation. I would say by 30%. However for cough can't really comment since we are still continuing with budecort once a day.

We have completely stopped Montair. Continuing with Budecort 200 one puff per day.
Gave him one puff of duolin for 2 days when cough increased.


My son sleeps around 9.45 pm. Every night anytime between 10 to 12, he sneezes few times. Watery mucous comes out while sneezing. He itches nose more at those times.

Cough is very mild as of now. Had stopped duolin since yesterday.

Current symptom bothering him most is eyes and nose itching / irritation and his sleep is disturbed throughout night.

Pls let me know if more info is required.

Hi, completed the dose of adviced medicine. Didn't notice either any improvements or deterioration in the condition.
The major issue continues to be nose irritation/itching aggravated on bed during night. While out of station, his symptoms were much better and he never sneezed in night. As soon as we landed back, sneezing is back. Same as earlier, around 2-5 sneezes anytime between 10pm to 12 am with watery mucous. Cough is not there and last 3 days I haven't given budecort as well so absolutely no allopathic medicines in last 3 days.

Things didn't go well today. He started coughing a lot while playing and running around in evening. It reduced only after couple of hours at home, gave 1 puff of duolin as well. Sleep is very disturbed with same regular issue - sneezing followed by nose irritation, breathing from mouth, changing positions on bed constantly, getting up and sitting on bed. Tried covering him with bed sheet but says he feels hot and removes that. Doesn't let me reduce fan as well. Food and activity during day was normal.

First two days after starting the dose was without any improvement. In fact I would say that condition went somewhat down.

However starting from last day of dose, I have seen improvement. Last two days also has been better. He still has nose block and irritation at night but I can see 30-40% improvement from what we saw few days ago. Out of 3 medicine which were administered as per your advice, based on my observation this one showed better results. We have discontinued the medicine after 3 days as you had mentioned.

Has been almost 5 days since we gave last dose of homeopathic medicine. His nose itching and block has gone down - now it is almost 50% reduced from peak.
Last 2 days he has started coughing again, with wheezing sound. It is not severe yet and is not disturbing him much but concerned that it might aggravate further. Again all symptoms are more pronounced once he is on bed.
Pls advice.

Gave him one dose on 29th. From 30th evening saw good improvement. He still sneezes almost daily at night but the irritation has reduced by almost 50-60 %. Cough is also minimal.

One thing which I have mentioned earlier too, when he runs around for sometime, he gets cough and suddenly wheezing kind of sound come from chest. This happened yesterday too.

Yes, only once I had to give inhaler one dose when he was coughing for long time after coming back from play. Apart from that in last 6 days haven't given any allopathic medicine.

Hi, gave him sulphur on 7th. He got mild cold on 7th evening with running nose. However that has improved now. Mild cough is there but I have not given any allopathic medicine lately. Sulphur seems to be helping a lot. Nose irritation is down as mentioned last time as well. When he plays or runs around wheezing/cough comes back.

One more thing, last 6-8 months we are not giving him milk to drink. Though we continue giving him in other forms like payasam, custard, curd (not regularly). This was based on advice shared by some acquaintance who suggested that milk can trigger allergies. I want to understand if we can restart milk for him.

Gave him sulphur dose on 18th and then 28th. Didn't give any other medications. Broadly he was keeping fine leaving couple of sneezes at night and moderate nose block / itching.

Last two days of bad weather at Bangalore has aggravated his cough. Didn't gave any medicine till now but now cough has increased and slight wheeze is coming. Planning to give Budecort for now. Is that fine ? Pls advice.
