Open Pyometra in a ten year old dog
This infection has been draining for over two weeks. The dog is becoming weakened, has excessive thirst, and while still seems interested in food, must be force fed. We treated her with pyrogenium 30C for a week, and then 200c for two days with no improvement. We followed that with Caulophyllum 30C. Today is her third day on this and there is no noticeable change. Discharge is thick and smelly. Dog is alert and responsive, able to walk but becoming weakened. We're force feeding her TID including beef liver, B complex and C, raw goat milk, and colostrum. There is plenty of drainage - the problem is clearing the infection and getting her uterus to stop creating puss.Revelation on 2015-05-03

Tongue color is a normal pink. Discharge is fairly clear with a light yellowish tan showing occasionally

give these biochemic cell salts daily,
calc sulph 6x - 3 pills morning
nat mur 6x - 3 pills afternoon
silicea 6x - 3 pills evening
(nothing 15 minutes before and after medicine)
report improvement after 25 days,

Update: The remedies finally arrived today. We gave the Calc Sulph and within two hours the discharge increased in volume , thickened and turned yellow. No other changes at this time. We will be giving the Nat Mur next.. The Silicea we ordered is labelled "Silica". This is the same remedy I hope...
