Genital herpes and candida

Hello,

I have enjoyed reading all the posts on this forum and now I would like to askin for some help.

I am a 26 year old female and I have been suffering from chronic yeast infections and herpes outbreaks for several years now. I have been seeing a homeopathic doctor recently but it seems like we're having trouble finding the perfect remedy. My candida is almost cleared up but I have had back to back outbreaks since I started to aggressively treat the candida.

I am 5'2" 105 lbs and in good health. However, I am very tired throughout the day no matter how much sleep I get. I normally feel best in the morning and by mid day I will get racing heart and I warm numbing sensation all over my body. Then I can feel the tingles internally in my vagina. I don't get outbreaks on the outdide. Only on the inner walls and they never scab. I'll just have an itchy, burny spot for about 5 days.

I have stopped eating sugar and carbs to battle the candida. I'm also drinking kefir amass kombucha. My biggest craving is sugar and I have no self control once I start eating it. I want sweets all the time.

It's hard to pinpoint what is triggering my outbreaks bc they just keep happening no matter what I do. On the rare days I don't have any tingles I will think about the herpes and it seems like my obsessing thoughts can actually cause an outbreak. I also have social anxiety and become nervous very easily and the stress of that makes it worse.

The only natural remedy I have tried it dosage of 1m sepia which seemed to help greatly by stopping sn outbreak in its tracks but then several days Lauer it came back. I'm thinking more sepia might be helpful but I'm not sure what dosage might be best and I can't afford to keep seeing the local doc. Can anyone help?

1. Describe your main suffering? State the correct location of pain or suffering.
Vaginal yeast infections and, vaginal herpes outbreaks. I believe I have systematic candida as well. If I eat carbs or sugar I get really bad gas and bloating.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? I cannot tolerate fiber very well and have digestive issues with sugars and carbs. I also have sugar balancing problems. If I don't eat often enough I will become very cloudy and dizzy feeling. Sugar/carbs give me intense racing heart.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? I think about my ailments nonstop. I'm obsessed with trying to fix them. It's very stressful knowing I can't be intimate with someone until I am better. I am also very scared of someone finding out because I think it's embarrassing and I fear rejection.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Describe the sensation in your own words. I will feel very tired, racing heart, cloudy thoughts, difficulty focusing. Most of those symptoms are relieved by not eating carbs or sugar. With the herpes I will feel heat sensations all over my body, almost a weird taste in my mouth, tingles and sharps pains in my vaginal area.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
I've had herpes for almost 10 years and I think the yeast problems started shortly after me getting herpes. I used to use drugs heavily and I think that really messed up my digestive and immune systems.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
Mid afternoon/evening

7. What are the things that aggravate your suffering and those that ameliorate the same? Example: time, temperature, pressure, rubbing, washing, eating, tight clothing etc.
Sweating aggravates it, epsom salt bath relieves it. Washing with coconut oil also brings some relief.

8. Do you think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
I think stressful thinking can be a trigger. I have social anxiety and whenever I have a situation that triggers my anxiety that makes it worse.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
About the same except sweating makes it worse.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
I'm very happy, outgoing, and optimistic but I can be nervous and have anxiety easily.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm? I love thunderstorms.
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? Not really.
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? My eyes are very sensitive to light.
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
Weeping, talking to one self etc? No.
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? I love them.

-How do you respond to music? Do you feel better or worse mentally listening to music?
I feel better, I love music.

- What upsets you most in yourself and in others? I'm upset that I have this ailment and I cant fix it. I want to be normal. People who lie or are selfish/conceited make me the most angry.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly? I fear people knowing that I have herpes and thinking I'm gross.

12. What do you crave in food items and what are your aversions? I crave sweet, spicy, and salty the most. I love pretty much all food.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive? Excessive - I also pee alot!

14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive? Excessive. I am always hungry.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand? Fiber gives me very bad gas and bloating. I don't do well sugar or carbs either.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? I used to sweat VERY heavily before getting medicated deodorant for my armpits.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
Normal.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
I sleep very well, too well almost. I never want to get up. I sleep in all positions.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
No.

20. Do you have any strange, peculiar or unusual symptom or feelings? How are you different from others?
My outbreaks and yeast infections are nonstop.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
I have tried just about everything. I am currently taking a mixture of herbs from HumaWorm for candida, olive leaf, Melissa/peppermint/clove oil, and some homeopathic drops for herpes and inflammation as recommended by the homeopathic doctor. I have been heavily treating the symptoms for the last 5 months and still have not found relief by any one thing but have seen improvement in the yeast - the herpes has gotten worse. I was worried the herpes is being caused from the detox caused by killing the candida.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
None.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
Short, skinny, pale skin, blues eyes.

24. What major diseases have you had in your life and when. Please write them in a chronological manner.

Abnormal cells on papsmear. HPV.

25. If your menstrual cycles are not normal, please describe all irregularities, like pains, moods, flow type, clots etc. as below:
I am on the depo shot so I do not have a menstrual cycle.

- Did you ever take birth control pills on a regular basis? Yes, but I have been on the depo for about 10 years.

- Have you ever been treated earlier or recently for any gynecological irregularity? Please describe. I tested positive for HPV about 3 years ago and I've had many abnormal papsmears.

Please try MERC SOL 30C once every 6 hours for 2 days maximum.

Let me know if you responded to this remedy. If you get relief, you may have to take a sustained dose for some weeks to finally get rid of this problem.

rishimba 9 years ago
Would you recommend the liquid or pellets?

somegirl 9 years ago
I've has success with sepia before. Do you think I should try a maintenance dose of that first or will the mer sol be better?

somegirl 9 years ago
Based on the modalities of your symptoms MERC SOL is the indicated remedy.

SEPIA may have produced a response but it would only be a palliative one.

I suggest you try MERC SOL liquid dose and let me know in the next 7 days. It this produces a good response, a sustained dosage of MERC will cure you for good.

rishimba 9 years ago
Thank you so much for the recommendation. How many drops of the liquid should I take for each dose? Also, would I be taking the same potency of 30c for the sustained dosage? Just wondering how large of a botitle I should order. I'd like to have the sustained dosage on hand too so if it works I won't have to wait on shipping again. Should I stop the other supplements I am taking or is it OK to continue them? Specificaly, olive leaf, essential oils, and the herbal candida fighter.

somegirl 9 years ago
One dose would be typically 3 drops of remedy in some 10 ml of water sipped up in empty stomach. No food or water one hour before or after.

What potency will you take as a sustained dose would be known only when we know the potency which produces a response. It could be 30C or 200C. So, get a small bottle (15 ml) of each potency.

You can continue other supplements as they won't negatively interact with homeopathic remedies. What's more important for you is to get back your periods. Once you get your normal periods back, MERC SOL will work better and you can be cured soon.

If you suppress your periods by depo shots these symptoms may continue despite all means of treatment.

rishimba 9 years ago
I did some research on the depo shot today and I have decided I'm going to stop using it. Unfortunately, I just got the shot last week so it will be several months before it wears off. I'm confident that my periods will return quickly tho because I sometimes get one if I miss my shot. Is there a type of birth control that you recommend for the last side effects? I'm not sexuality active right now so I might just stop all birth control.

somegirl 9 years ago
Unfortunately, all pills have side effects. In my opinion, you can look-up information on loops which is a physical barrier and thus won't produce any side effects. You have to observe how your system adapts to it without getting any irritation or infection.

rishimba 9 years ago
I tried the merc sol 30c for one day and felt no effect so I switched to the 200c. That day I felt more tired than I've ever felt, had a pounding headache, and very strong tingles and itches that signify the beginning of an outbreak. I was worried at first but then I read that these are actually good signs that the remedy is working. Is that true? The next day I did not get an outbreak like I normally would but the headache and tiredness continued. Today is the third day and I feel a little less tired, no headache, and no outbreak. I even had the energy to exercise which I have not done in a long time. I also feel like my obsessive thoughts have gotten better and I have more focus. Today I also had bloating and gas that I normally get with candida die off. It seems like remedy is working. How often do you think I should repeat for maintenance?

somegirl 9 years ago
Yes, MERC SOL has created a response that was expected. You don't have to repeat unless and untill your symptoms relapse. Keep a note of thinks on how long this potency holds.

If you relapse take a couple of doses of 200C on a single day and wait for your response.

rishimba 9 years ago
It seems the merc sol has stopped working. It was a miracle for several weeks but no longer has any effect. I even tried going up to 1m dose but still nothing. Is it possible I need a different remedy now? Why would it stop working? Is it possible I used it too much? I am WAY better than I was before but still getting hot/cold flushed feeling accompanied by outbreak tingles. Still very tired too. I'd say the yeast is 80% gone. I feel like I just need something that can help me over the last bump in my healing journey. My period should return in 2-3 weeks so I'm hoping that will help. Is there anything else you would recommend?

somegirl 9 years ago
Yes, we need to change remedies when symptoms change or when they exhaust their area of action.

I will have to retake your case to suggest to you the remedy that will probably complete the case.

Fill up the questionnaire again giving your present symptoms.

Abnormal cells on papsmear. HPV.

25. If your menstrual cycles are not normal, please describe all irregularities, like pains, moods, flow type, clots etc. as below:
My menstrual cycle should come back in a couple weeks. I have stopped the depo shot.

- Have you ever been treated earlier or recently for any gynecological irregularity? Please describe. I tested positive for HPV about 3 years ago and I've had many abnormal papsmears. I would say the main persisting symptoms are gas/ bloating around 3-5pm no matter what I eat, a little white coating I can still see on the inner walls of my vagina, itchy anus, tingly hands and hot/cold flashes during outbreak, tiredness, difficulty concentrating, and constant urge to urinate.

I'm very much looking forward to your response. It helped me so much last time. Thank you.

Please take two doses of LACHESIS 200C on a single day.

Let me know after 15 days.

I understand most of your symptoms are a result of suppression of periods and perspiration.

Its good to know you have stopped depo shots and expecting your periods soon. Once your periods return, I hope things would be much better for you.

rishimba 9 years ago
Hello, I tried the last recommendation but it had no effect good or bad. My periods have now returned but besides that my symptoms are exactly the same. Do you have any recommendations? It seems like now my periods ate triggering the outbreaks. Do you think my body is just readjusting to the hormones?

somegirl 8 years ago
Tell me your present sufferings.

rishimba 8 years ago
I have been having almost back to back herpes outbreaks and when they're happening I get weird cold sensations all over my body. It feels like air conditioning on my body. I recently came off the depo shot and got my period back. My periods have been lasting about 3 days each and my breasts were very sore for several days before the last one. I also feel very tired. I was on the depo shot for 10 years. I'm very cold all the time yet I sweat. I had severe issues with candida recently but those issues have mostly subsided.

somegirl 8 years ago
You may take 2 doses of SEPIA OFFICINALIS 200C on a single day. Take one dose in the morning and the other in the evening, both in empty stomach. Don't take any food or water one hour before or after the dose.

These two doses have to be taken on a SINGLE day only.

One dose would be 3 drops of remedy in some 10 ml of water slowly sipped up to wet the full mouth. Don't gulp down.

Let me know your response after a week.

rishimba 8 years ago
I have taken sepia 1m before and it worked great at first but now it has no effect. Same thing happened with merc Sol. Do you have any other ideas?

somegirl 8 years ago
I think 1M potency is too high for herpes.

Try Sepia in 200C potency repeatedly once every two to three days. Once you start responding, take a sustained dose twice a week for some weeks or till everything is fine.

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experience and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering? State the correct location of pain or suffering. I am suffering from recurrent yeast infections and herpes outbreaks. These occur inside my vagina. I never have any external symptoms. I also have really bad acne on my face.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? My digestion is really bad. I am bloated and get gas after almost everything I eat. My bowel movements are regular though.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? I am very tired and very frustrated that I eat very healthy and take care of my body but can’t get these symptoms to go away.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Describe the sensation in your own words. I can feel burning, itching, and tingling inside my vagina and sharp shooting sensations. That’s how I know I have a herpes outbreak. I can also see a white coating of candida yeast if I look up there. It also looks red and inflamed. I don’t have any discharge though.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease? I had these same symptoms before when I was on the depo shot (birth control) and I was able to get rid of the symptoms by quitting the shot and taking a lot of different medicines/remedies. I can’t remember which ones actually worked. I took one dose of the depo shot 4months ago because I was needing birth control again and all my symptoms came back. I bled for 3 months straight. I decided I wasn’t going to get the depo shot again and I have not had a period since then (about a month and half)

6. Which time of the day you are worst? The evenings seem to be worst. My digestion is good in the morning but as the day goes on I get gas and get bloated. I normally feel more vaginal irritation/itching in the evening, too.

7. What are the things that aggravate your suffering and those that ameliorate the same? Example: time, temperature, pressure, rubbing, washing, eating, tight clothing etc. My vaginal problems are made worse by hot temperatures/sweating, tight clothing, and eating sugar. They are made better by boric acid douches, Epsom salt baths, and keeping the area dry and cool.

8. Do you think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)? I believe this all directly related to the depo shot. I took saliva hormone test and my hormones (estrogen and progesterone) are lower than a woman in menopause.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather? Dry, cool weather is best.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc. I am mild, quiet/introverted, nervous/anxious, optimistic, happy, creative, and determined. I have persistent thoughts about my symptoms.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm? I love thunderstorms.
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? No, not really. I’m very independent.
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? I am sensitive to light.
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
Weeping, talking to one self etc? No
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? I love them. I do get irritated with my boyfriend when he tries to be sexual and I am having vaginal problems. It’s annoying because I want to be able to be sexual with him but I can’t so I get irritated.
-How do you respond to music? Do you feel better or worse mentally listening to music? I love music, it makes me feel much better.
- What upsets you most in yourself and in others? I don’t find anything that upsetting. I’m a judgmental person at all. Maybe dishonesty.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly? I fear being murdered and I often have scary dreams about people trying to kill me.

12. What do you crave in food items and what are your aversions? I crave sweet items: cookies, brownies, doughnuts, ect. I also crave carbs: pizza, chips. Basically I crave unhealthy foods because I try to stick to a very healthy diet. I don’t eat anything processed.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive? Normal

14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive? Excessive

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand? No

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? I sweat a lot, especially under my arms and between my legs and under my butt.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? I always have a bowel movement in the morning, but not at night. Stool type is solid.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I sleep very easily. I am always tired so I always want to sleep. I get especially tired after I eat a large meal.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general? No, I always seem to have problems that prevent me from being sexual.

20. Do you have any strange, peculiar or unusual symptom or feelings? How are you different from others? I feel like I am sensitive to everything. Other people can eat whatever they want, take birth control, drink and treat their bodies like crap with no bad effects. Everything I do affects my body negatively makes my face breakout or causes an outbreak.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication? I keep trying different things because nothing seems to work. I think nothing works because the underlying problem is my hormones and nothing will work until they’re back in balance. I’m currently taking colloidal silver, digestive enzymes, probiotics, and an anti-fungal herb blend. In the past I have taken Sepia in does up to 1M and Merc Sol in does up to 1M with very positive effects. Both seemed to stop working after a while though. I also took Lachesis but it has no effect. I’m wondering if Merc Sol might help me again since it worked before.

22. What major diseases are running in your family? None.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance. I am very fair skinned, short 5’ 1”, and thin 105-115 lbs. I have dark hair and light blue eyes.
24. What major diseases have you had in your life and when. Please write them in a chronological manner. None
(For Females)
25. If your menstrual cycles are not normal, please describe all irregularities, like pains, moods, flow type, clots etc. as below:
- Are your periods generally regular, early or delayed? What is the usual cycle duration? I had light spotting the entire 3 months I had the depo shot in my system and I have not had a period since I was due for my last shot and didn’t get it (about a month and half) When I was on the depo shot before I would always start my period right away if I missed the shot when I was due so I am concerned that I still have not started my period after over a month being off it.
- Describe the sensations and locations of pain before, during and after the flow.
- How do you generally deal with your sufferings during periods? Do you have any non-medical way of relieving your suffering?
- What is the duration of flow? Is it heavy, medium or light?
- Do you observe clots?
- Do you have mid-cycle spotting? What are the days you have spotting?
- Describe changes in your mental condition or any other peculiar symptom that surfaces before, during or after the flow.
- Do your sufferings increase or decrease as soon as the flow begins?
- Did you ever take birth control pills on a regular basis? I was on the depo shot for almost 10 years, then got off it for about a year and took it again a little over 4 months ago.
- Have you ever been treated earlier or recently for any gynecological irregularity? Please describe. I have been to the doctor and they have confirmed that I have candida yeast but the medicines they prescribe do not work.

All of the remedies I've taken in the past were recommended on this thread so you can view the history if needed.
