Pain in ankle specific to motion

Can someone help me find a remedy for my mother? She has pain in her right ankle only when flexing it downward. She has a history of gout in her big toe but says this is different from gout pain. She cant describe the pain, only that it hurts to put weight on her foot and hurts in her ankle when she moves her foot in a downward motion.

Thank you,
Ruth

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I only have a Kents repertory to look things up in and I cant find the right rubric.

Thank you for replying. I will have to ask her those questions tomorrow as she is sleeping now. (It is nighttime here.) I gave her one dose Arnica 200c in water as that was the only thing I could think of to help her pain. Her ankle was swollen but she said she didnt twist it or sprain it.

Thank you ,
Ruth

I'm happy to report she awoke the next morning with no pain so the Arnica must have done the trick.

Thanks,
Ruth

I got it, she has pain due to ankle gout. But I would suggest you to describe proper case study through you can get better results. I think you should take physiotherapist help to cure it.
