Baby coughing

My 2.4 year old have cough. The nearby homeopathy doctor said its Allergic Bronchitis. He gave some medicine it got better but after 1 week its again back to square one. Please let me know the best medicine. He drinks lots of water and its a dry cough.
He is coughing at every 2 minutes. Sleeps well till 2 pm in night and then starts coughing...
