Hi-

You took one allopathy pill? What was this? Did the Dr. give it to you?

There can be many reasons for this-sometimes a sinus problem or
ear infection or tiny crystal in your ear floating into the wrong area.

What did the Dr. say?

I have known people who got this- had all tests and Drs. found nothing-
They were given Bonine, a motion sickness pill you can get at the stores
in Usa and that fixed it. The drs. said it can be something like having
a micro drop of water on a hair of the inner ear.

You can try these cell salts for a few days to see if they correct this-

Cal Phos 6x, Kali phos 6x, Ferrum Phos 6x , Silicea 6x and Nat Sulph6x.
Take 3 tabs of each and let dissolve under the tongue- you can do them
all at one time. Do this 3 times a day, report after a couple days.

Did the Dr. know about Canalith repositioning? You could contact an ENT md for this.
Mayo clinic on BPP VertigoTo help relieve benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), your doctor, audiologist or physical therapist may treat you with a series of movements known as the canalith repositioning procedure.-

Canalith repositioning-see it on YOU Tube-Epley manuever and other videos.

Performed in your doctor's office, the canalith repositioning procedure consists of several simple and slow maneuvers for positioning your head- slow maneuvers for positioning your head. The goal is to move particles from the fluid-filled semicircular canals of your inner ear into a tiny bag-like open area (vestibule) that houses one of the otolith organs (utricle) in your ear where these particles don't cause trouble and are more easily resorbed. Each position is held for about 30 seconds after any symptoms or abnormal eye movements stop. This procedure is usually effective after one or two treatments.

After the procedure, you must avoid lying flat or placing the treated ear below shoulder level for the rest of that day. For the first night following the procedure, elevate your head on a few pillows when you sleep. This allows time for the particles floating in your labyrinth to settle into your vestibule and be resorbed by the fluids in your inner ear.

On the morning after your in-office procedure, your restrictions will be lifted and you'll begin self-care as directed by your doctor. Your doctor likely will have taught you how to perform the canalith repositioning procedure on yourself so that you can do it at home before returning to the office for a recheck.

Surgical alternative

In very rare situations in which the canalith repositioning procedure isn't effective, your doctor may recommend a surgical procedure in which a bone plug is used to block the portion of your inner ear that's causing dizziness. The plug prevents the semicircular canal in your ear from being able to respond to particle movements or head movements in general. This success rate for canal plugging surgery is greater than 90 percent.

I remember Dr. did say virtgo, he precribed stugeron, as i write this i searched over internet and he did diagnose properly.
however I have very less interest in allopathy, I sought ABC help.

I have no sinus problem for now.

Today I am planning to go to an ENT specialist.

I was happy to identify myself that a canalith or Epley maneuver will help me for sure, but donno who does it in bangalore/hyderabad where i reside.

thanQ for your remedies, I will try till I get some information about a audiologist who can help me locally.

You can follow the You Tube and do the canalith positions.

The one for the Epley positions says that you have to keep your neck
upright for 48 hours- so I guess that means you have to sleep sitting
in a chair-and buying one of those foam neck supports would
help to stop you from looking down during that 48 hours. We can buy those
neck collars in the stores here in Usa- don't know where you get them
in your area, but it is possible to try these canalith movements yourself.

yeah we get the neck collars here in India too, most of the elderly people wear that

so you mean to say the canalith positions can be self done?

Yes- there are You tubes for right side
or left side problems- under Canalith.

There is the Epley you tube, but they
want you to put on the collar after you
do it-it is not hard, you could even
have someone watch the you tube
and tell you where to put your head
and to hold it there for one minute then
move to the next head position.

If you cannot find these You Tubes let me know.
