The Liquid Dilution you have chosen is OK. It seems a pity however that WHP does not offer the 5ml pack as you will only require just 3 drops of the remedy in the 500ml bottle of Spring water. Since however you have a larger volume of the liquid remedy there is no harm in using a little more up to half a teaspoonful.

I use the 85% proof alcohol for all my remedies but the 20% will also be OK as the chances of its evaporating are less.

Can you please copy and paste your case on a separate thread as it pertains to your Gall Stone while this thread pertains to Arnica ?

My apologies for not having read your post through to the end as I was rather sleepy last night.

Arnica 6c in the Wet dose is your remedy for Diabetes. You will take a dose twice daily and should observe a significant drop in your Blood Sugar level within 24 hours. You have not mentioned the drug you are taking today but it is most likely that you will discover that the Arnica may be able to normalize your BS level.

You may like to know that I had a patient recently who presented a BS level of 336 and was on Metformin 500 twice daily. He stopped the drug for a week and only used Arnica 6c three time daily and discovered that his BS level had dropped down to 97. You can safely do the same experiment and hopefully your BS level may also come down when you can stop the drug. Arnica 6c can safely be used for life but I would suggest that you reduce the dosage to twice daily after you have used it thrice daily for a week and verified the result.


I am copying a post on the Homeopathy and More Forum where I have recorded a case of how Berberis Vulgaris 6c in the Wet dose reduced a Kidney Stone. I have prescribed this same therapy to a few patients who presented Gall Stones and they reported that this remedy dissolved their Calculus. In the case of Gall Stones the size does matter and you can copy the therapy and report your response.

I would suggest however that you do not take both remedies concurrently as it will be better to treat your Diabetes with Arnica and after you have recorded some reduction of your BS level for a month, you can then proceed to treat the Gall Stone.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
If this is not available the Dry dose in pellets may be use but this is not as effective as the remedy in the original Ethanol pack.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops or 5 pellets of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles. This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is taken as directed.


How 'Joepathy' dislodged a Kidney Stone

I would like to share with members the therapy I used a few days ago to treat a Kidney Stone which can be useful to members who may be diagnosed with one or who may find that a friend suffers from a Kidney Stone. It is interesting to note that modern medicine does not seem to have any treatment for Kidney Stones other than shattering them with a Lithotrypter or by using drugs to dissolve them which usually does not seem to help the patient quickly. This patient had been under treatment by specialists of the General Hospital in Colombo for some months but with no amelioration of his condition.

He presented with acute pain in his back which had been diagnosed by specialists as Kidney Stones. An Xray did not show any shadows but his Urine report showed that he had Calcium Oxalate Crystals ++.

I gave the patient Berberis Vulgaris 6c in the Wet Dose but this did not help him for a week as this remedy works slowly to dissolve the stones. On the 8th day he reported acute pain radiating down from his right kidney and was unable to stand erect. I diagnosed that a stone had been discharged from his right kidney and that it was blocking his right Ureter. I gave him 6 pellets Colocynthis 200 in the DRY Dose which he took sublingually at around 7.00PM. He reported on the morning after that he had woken up around 2.00AM with excrutiating pain, the likes of which which he had never suffered before in his life. The pain radiated from his back down through his abdomen on the right side and down to the bladder. His urine was bloody shortly after.

He had passed the stone with just one dose of Colocynthis 200 and he is now completely free of all pain and discomfort. A urine test does not show any signs of Calcium Oxalate Crystals.

I am recording this incident in the hope that members will remember that Colocynthis 200 in the DRY dose has an almost miraculous effect in dislodging Kidney Stones. Berberis Vulgaris 6c in the Wet Dose will slowly dissolve the Calculi and it helped this patient to dislodge the stone that was in his right kidney and its passage through the Ureter caused him this unbearable pain which was so bad that he had passed out for a short while.

I have advised him to take a teaspoonful of Berberis V 6c in the Wet Dose daily to ensure that his urine does not cause another Kidney Stone to form and to also drink at least 3 liters of liquids daily.

You can get a bottle Bisleri which is the nearest to Spring water in India.

Many diabetic patients who used my Joepathy confirmed having discovered that their Blood Sugar level was suddenly depressed by about 20% within just 24 hours. My advice to them at that stage is that they reduce the drugs they were using to balance their BS level to around 100-110.

If you too discover that the Arnica therapy reduces your BS level you can reduce your drugs by half and monitor your BS level as recommended above.

I would like to place on record that I now use other remedies for Rheumatism which I have found more effective than Rhus T which I used to prescribe about 5 years ago.

You will have to positively identify your ailment as you have mentioned both Rheumatism and Gout whose etiology, you should know as a doctor, are completely different. The therapy for both are naturally also different.

If, as you state your Uric Acid level is high, this is the reason for your Gout.

You also list:

Hair Loss
Body pain and weakness.

One remedy that can help your problems is Arnica 30c in the Wet dose which you can take for a few weeks and report if it has helped you.

Use a mild shampoo like Johnsons Baby shampoo on your hair daily.

Take a Cod liver oil capsule daily.

I have used Arnica for many ailments but it will not heal Gastritis alone as it has to be used in conjunction with Nat Phos 6x. The dosage for NP is 2-3 tablets taken after each of 2 meals daily. The Arnica is also used in the Wet dose taken twice daily to help heal the eroded Esophagus which has been virtually burnt by the gastric juice.

You also state that you suffer from Hypertension and here too Arnica cannot help in the short term. It will however do so in the long term by dissolving the cholesterol in your arterial system and in about 3 months you should discover that your BP is stabilized.

You will in the meanwhile take Nat Mur 6x dose 3 tablets taken thrice daily to help reduce your BP.

The Wet dose of Arnica is made as follows:

'I am taking Natrum phos 6 x after every meal. I still have following issues- irritation in throat,

How many tablets of Nat Phos 6x are you taking?
Have you taken the Arnica 30 in the Wet dose as prescribed?

I believe that the reason for your present condition can be due to your not taking at least 4 tablets of Nat Phos 6x to neutralize the acid after every meal, especially after dinner. Arnica is necessary to soothe and rebuild the inner lining of your Esophagus which has been eroded by the gastric juice which you stated is also causing you irritation of your throat.

I did not prescribe Kali Mur 6x and Nat Sulph 6x to you. Can you tell me the reason why you wish to take them? What other drugs or remedies are you taking today?
When did you have an Endoscopy done and why? Did the doctor prescribe any drugs like Nexium, Zantac or other PPI drugs?

'I am scared of side effect of arnica as I am a allergy , hyper sensitive person as also sensitive to ilk etc. Is there a way I can take low dose and see whether it suits me before going for 30c?'

You must understand that treating a patient on a Forum cannot be compared to a personal consultation. Unless the patient is prepared to follow the therapy prescribed precisely and reports the progress of the ailment after taking the remedies prescribed precisely, the patient cannot be expected to be cured.

If you are not prepared to follow my therapy precisely as prescribed, you will compel me to withdraw from your case and it is up to you to decide what you wish to do in the future.

I wonder if your mother is suffering from Cardiac Asthma as a result of which her lungs are slowly filling with plasma which restricts her ability to breathe. The Palpitation she suffers from is also symptomatic of Cardiac Asthma.

I would advise you to ward her in Hospital immediately where they can give her strong Diuretics and Steroids to help her heart which will in turn help to clear the edema in her lungs.

Cardiac asthma is wheezing due to congestive heart failure and in the true sense it is not asthma. Clinically it is a condition caused by severe reflexive blocking and or by edema of the lungs. It is an asthmatic-type breathing caused by sudden blockage of the pulmonary circulation. The bronchial spasm in cardiac asthma is caused by back pressure from the left side of the heart to the lungs. Symptomatically cardiac asthma is quite similar to lung asthma.

Patients with heart failure or heart valves that do not open properly experience shortness of breath not necessarily accompanied by wheezing, coughing, increased rapid and superficial breathing, increased blood pressure and heart beat rate and a feeling of uneasiness. Symptoms usually occur with exercise or at night after going to bed. Cardiac asthma is usually due to a major mechanical fault of the heart. The reduced pumping efficacy of the heart leads to a build up of fluid in the lungs. This build up of the fluid causes the air passages to narrow up and eventually cause wheezing and other related symptoms. It is a life-threatening condition and one must seek medical advice immediately on experiencing any symptoms.

The key to effective management of cardiac asthma is right diagnosis, which includes differentiation between patients who wheeze only due to acute heart failure and those who wheeze from other disorders, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia or acute respiratory distress syndrome. Treatment is directed at improving the pump function of the heart along with medications.

Treatments mainly focus on controlling the night coughs, control of the edema, control of inflow load and the amount of residual blood in the left ventricle. Diuretics (water pills) free the lungs of excess fluid and other medications such as morphines, nitrates help the heart muscles pump more effectively. The wheezing gradually stops when the heart failure has been well controlled.

In some patients who suffer from asthma and heart failure simultaneously, treatment is required for both conditions. A combination of bronchodilators, supplementary oxygen is generally effective in controlling the asthmatic symptoms in addition to treating heart failure in such patients. Corticosteroids are prescribed only when the patient with acute cardiac asthma has not responded well to initial therapy. Corticosteroids usually take long hours to give peak effect. If the asthma is caused by a heart valve that is not working properly or a hole between the heart chambers, surgery or other procedures may be suggested.

You are advised to consult a good doctor immediately and if my diagnosis of Cardiac Asthma is correct your mother must be treated in a hospital on a SOS basis.

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily has helped many patients who present Tonsillitis which it usually clears on the third day. In the case of your wife it is recommended that she takes one capful of Arnica 30 for the rest of her life nightly as it will ensure that she will never be affected by this ailment which is usually treated with a Tonsillectomy as was done by my parents to me when I was just 17 which was very long ago as I am 82 years old today. I can assure you that this surgery did more harm than good and should only be used as a last resort if the patient is proved to be harbouring the Beta Hemoliticus Streptococcus which must be isolated after at least 3 tests taken over a period of months after every attack of Tonsillitis.

Arnica 30 is best used as a gargle which is later swallowed and the patient can use sufficient liquid from the bottle for the gargle. There is no danger of any overdose as all that matters in Homeopathy is the frequency of the dose and not the quantity. It is important however to note that the remedy must be succussed by shaking it hard to produce bubbles.
