carcinosin
please can you tell me is the above remedy good for bereavement, low mood and a lot of stress. Just lost my mum so I am in grief and this in turn is affecting my stomach. will it help with the bloatingkohler on 2014-03-21

why do you think carcinosin has been prescribed for my symptoms - Have a lot of stress but I also have a lot of guilt that I shouldn't really have but I do - I have tried to please everyone the last few months and also deal with a sick cousin 40 miles away and work, and keep home and partner happy and feel I can't be there for everyone.
I visited mum as much as I could in the care home 3 times per day, working, then home,, dinner, exercise, then back to see mum but I still feel guilty.

That's what I thought - there's not much info on carcinosin and what it is for where can I find out more about the remedy

There is a great deal of information on Carcinosin. It is a very commonly prescribed polycrest and anti-miasmatic remedy. Many authors have written about it.
However, if you have been prescribed this remedy by a homoeopath, why do you need to ask us if it is good. Don't you trust the person who prescribed for you?

I thought it was just a strange remedy for me because apart from the stress I have had in my life the last 10 months due to death and a cousin being ill my pain reason was my stomach - no two days are ever the same up one day down the next no matter what my diet is. And if I am honest I have a fear of taking carcinosin because it seems to be linked with the 'C' word. No matter what you say I cannot help thinking will it trigger of off this disease - had enough of the Big C of late another cousin has only got months left i don't want to me next

Took my first dose last night and half hour after taking it i developed diarrohea which went on most of the night, I then developed chills which were like coming from the inside and felt like I'd had numb feet. Feel headachey and sleepy today which is not what I need when a fullday of housework is required.
Is this a normal reaction? Can't say my mood has improved much neither. Will this remedy cause weight gain?
Does this remedy give you diarrohea all the time? Because I have bleeding haemmoroids last night was an awful painful night and one I don't want to repeat.

Do that at the moment - so as long as I don't gain weight taking this remedy and it doesn't undo the good work I am doing. But have to say don't like this remedy - don't feel good taking it

see it is a homeopathic aggravation which ones it subsides you will gt better.homeopathy works like that.
is some persons thre is this aggravation not in all.so nothing to worry abt.for you pilesstart having calc flour 6x,5 tabs three times a day and give feed backs.

It has made me feel very on edge with a racy heart - taking in 1LM dose so should be mild - supposed to take it every other day and the two doses I've had have given me this racy heart,palpitation feel which I am finding scary

have nux vom 30 5 pills and give a feed back.you can also have a strong cup of coffee to neutralize the effect,if it is due to ignatia it will subside.

All she said was to leave it and take nothing for a week but I've had palpitations again today and I didn't have them before the remedy - all I wanted was to get a remedy to make me smile again and stop the bloating in my tummy!

I didn't want to take this remedy because I am very nervous of it because of the link to the Big C so I am wishing I had stuck to my guns and not taken it because of my fear of it.

That is a poor attitude to have. If you maintain this view, you will not be able to use many of the most useful of our medicines as they are made from various disease matter (syphilis, gonnorrhea etc) or from various poisons (snakes, mercury, arsenic etc). In fact the remedy Nux-vomica is made from a highly poisonous net.
