Hi Rose:

How about your daughter? I need to know more information about remedy for autism, since I have a autism son.

Thanks,

Diana

One of the remedies that no one has mentioned , which I have used to cure , is Baryta Carb, read Kent on this one.

Well, I went to the homeopath a number of times. We tried Hyoscyamus niger for a while, but saw only a little improvement. I have not seen the homeopath for a number of months now, in part because the holidays and birth of my son intervened, and in part because money is tight right now so I can't afford to pay for another session (sometimes I really wish health insurance covered homeopathy!)

Whenever I go back to him he will probably want to change the remedy, but I'm considering trying NatM. on my own for a while first. I'm kind-of in limbo now, so to speak. Other non-homeopathic treatments have been helping her (nutritional/vitamins, etc.), but I do want to return to trying homeopathy.

Hi Rose

Your daughter sounds very much like Mine, who is now 7. I was particularly struck by the behaviour you described as "Often happy but when she gets overwhelmed or upset, she lies over a chair, seems to stimulate genitals while lying there. Squeezing her hands and feet and putting light pressure on her back seems to help her."

My daughter does this as well but I have never been able to such a good way of describing the action. I used to call it "rocking". She also does it when very tired.

We are working with a classical Homeopath and are currently having some success with mercury Q1. Have tried several different remedis over time with differing results but we keep coming back to mercury. "energy which can't express itself" so accurately describes our daughter. This may be worth trying/suggesting to your practitioner.

Hi rose

Your daughter sounds very much like my 7 yr old daughter. Similar issues with late speach, aversion to certian frequencies/sounds (my singing:))and I was particularly struck by your description "Often happy but when she gets overwhelmed or upset, she lies over a chair, seems to stimulate genitals while lying there. Squeezing her hands and feet and putting light pressure on her back seems to help her." My daughter has done this since she was about two and I have always described it as "rocking". SHe also does it when very tired.

We have had great success with homeopathy and have tried many remedies. Working with a homeopath is very important.

We keep coming back to the mercury salts. The nature of mercury is "energy that cannot express itself" which describes my daughter in so many ways. We are currently using Q1 but plan to move up through the potencies and possibly experiment within the mercury family. I hope this helps.

Thank you; we will look into that. I have long suspected mercury as the culprit for her problems.

I should clarify: I suspect that mercury caused her problem because of consumption of tuna when I was pregnant and thimerosal in vaccines. So it kind of makes sense that a homeopathic preparation made from mercury might help her.
