Loss of appetite after TyphoidHi, I am 27 years old male and I am sick for the last ten years. I was in Africa and there I got first sever flue after swallowing quickly ice cold sweet thing(don't remember name) and it lasted three days and then after that I got wet cough which used to get worse after morning breakfast. I was in school and therefore started to swallow the green sputum and I remember that was the first time after swallowing the sputum I started feeling something wrong with the stomach, nausea feeling, heart beat increased and feeling bad after eating and feeling good when empty stomach. Dr gave some medicines and the wet cough cured but stomach problem was getting worse. No appetite, if eat something it turned into acidic water or something and used to come back up in the throat after three or four hours of eating and I was getting worse at night, I was feeling dizzy at night. went to Dr again and they did some stool tests and said u have got sever infection of typhoid in the intestines. They gave ciprofloxine after which I felt much better for a week, no more dizziness. Then dr said typhoid is now cured. But since then 2002 and till today I never got the real appetite which I had before the typhoid. I have tried myself all the remedies like nux-vomica, bryonia, arsenic, lycopodium, china, carbovege and even typhadinium and now on pyrogenium but still nothing seems to work. I lost about 10 Kg during this period. I feel much better on empty stomach. problem start after eating heartbeat increases, bloating, constant nausea but never vomit. I feel extremely cold especially my hands and feet. I craves sugar a lot which was not before typhoid and feel better after eating sugar. Even a slight mistake in meals makes stomach disagree. I have becomes very thin. Been to all drs. All said its acidity and gave anti acidic but none relieved and even got twice endosocopy and each time they said nothing in stomach only little swelling. Please help me If i get better I can pay you whatever you like. I have zero energy. No thirst at all. No appetite. Feel better in warm room, weather, and water. extremely chilly, chilliest of all people. Only mango makes my stomach better which are not always available. whenever i get better, acne start forming on my face. I don't know why this happens. What country are you in now?
Do you know what probiotics are? Have you ever taken them?
When you take antibiotics, they destroy your gut flora, which
takes care of all kinds of things in the gut. You have to replace
with probiotics. Everyone has yeast organisms in the gut that
are kept under control by the right gut flora. Yeast/ also known
as candida makes one crave sugar bc they live on sugar and
I wonder if you have been tested for candida overgrowth?
What does your tongue look like in the morning? does it have
a white coating on it?
( no matter what goes on here with your treatment you have to
start probiotics and build up to twice a day for at least 2 months
to get the gut flora back to normal.)
Also please put answers to these questions on your post, so
that remedies may be chosen to help you with this too.

We all have yeast in the gut- the normal gut flora keep
them under control. So even if you do not test for the full
blown yeast infection, chances are your gut flora is not
what it should be. People take probiotics anyway just to
keep their gut in good shape.
There are many brands of probiotics and not every brand
works with everyone. So find one that you are comfortable with,
and you build up with it. Take one a day and then after a time,
try two a day.
What do you mean even a slight mistake in meals, makes
the stomach disagree? What are the mistakes?
What can you eat and not eat?
Have you gone to any homeopaths in the UK?
Did you try all those remedies on your own, or did a homeopath
The probiotics are going to help but you still need homeopathic
treatment and I am trying to see who I think could help you.

You will hopefully discover that my therapy aka 'Joepathy' will help you within the hour after you have taken your first dose after a meal.
The remedies you will order are as follows:
Nat Phos 6x dose 3-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 2 meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.
Please observe the following simple rules:
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry. Do not drink more that a few sips of water after your meals. This is to prevent the further dilution of your gastric juice which can then reflux into your Esophagus which results in GERD.
It is important that you do not go to bed for at least 2 hours after dinner as food will take about this time to digest and it is best to stay awake and upright to enable your food to digest before going to bed.
No fatty food, alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham, bacon as they contain Saltpeter which will antidote the remedies listed immediately.
If you suffer from a stomach ache or you feel your stomach puffing up before a meal during the day between meals, this is usually due to hunger pains, caused by your gastric juices attacking the inner lining and the wall of your stomach. The simple remedy is to eat some food like a biscuit or a banana between meals to keep the gastric juice away from digesting the stomach wall which results in a stomach ache which in some cases can be acute.
You must drink at least 3 liters of liquids, preferably water daily and you must also exercise for at least half hour daily. It is important to sweat it out as this is all part of my therapy to overcome GERD.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Liquid Alcohol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.
It is understood that the patient will stop all other drugs which s/he may be taking for this ailment.
