psoriasis
I have a case of psoriasis.complaints started since 2 years back. Patient has taken homoeopathic treatment and improved a lot. ( 60%)
he was given graphites 1m daily 3 dose , thuja 200 every 4 hrs, led pal 200, apis 200 and sep 200 every day.. THIS IS ALL AS PER PATIENT'S KNOWLEDGE.
Patient came to me as he shifted to my city for career purpose.
I got few symptoms from his case.
Dry, dark patches over forehead (margin) and legs .
Dandruff started with itching, then hair falling.
white dandruff.
Itching in spots
Bleeding on scratching - ( past ) now it has improved with homeopathy.
more marked symptom is due to stress itching is more
accompanied by headache which is relieved by rest
In past he has c/o nausea due to irregularities of diet.
patient has aversion to sweets and plain milk
thermal reaction - hot patient
perspiration profuse all over the body
past history of hernia in early childhood . had operated for that
mentals : he describes himself as adjustable, hard working , cleaning prefers , fastidious.
and very much career oriented as all complaints and things started with career and all talks ended with career reasons thts what i observed
hobbies also career related and music +
positive point about him ( according to him ) hard worker
negative : emotional
That senior homoeopath has treated him very well.. but with lots of medicines and frequent repeatation. so i need the proper guidance in this case. as i always prefer single medicine at a time. but this case is little bit tough for me. if anyone can guide me for this case..

This prescription sounds like Allopathy way of treating. Surprice to see his recovery (60%) with this line of treatment.

I couldn't really make a suggestion on such a short case. It hasn't been explored enough for me to see any kind of picture or pattern.

The patient has been over dosed and probably the improvement you see is a result of suppression.
Had I been you, I would allow a cooling off period. Don't prescribe anything for a month and retake the case. If necessary, give him some placebo. Post that, re-take the case in full detail and prescribe as per the presenting symptoms. Taking a detailed dermatological case must include all modalities that you may elicit. Find the concomitants. However, you must not rely on current symptoms as the overdose of medicines would have masked the original disease symptoms.
In my opinion, you should not prescribe Nat mur as yet.

oh. yes. That is true. and one more thing i have noticed very clearly that he is very much affected at his career point. as his complaints started during stress, than it always aggravated with stress, his best moments are defined as certification and also his worries about his career only..

I agree with you. Totally. but i m not sure that he will come back after one month. And he showed me SMS of his homoeopath, in which the prescription written. so i wonder anyone who is practicing this way could show his prescription to others. Isn't it? So we have assumed that he was given this much medicines at a time.

An Advisory note to the patients looking in this thread for similar problem (i.e. Psoriasis):
In the recent/past there have been instances were patients blindly follow self prescription mode of treatment by just looking to the success percentage. Just by taking the prescribed homeopathy medicines which was used for some other patient with different set of symptoms, is completely WRONG. This will not benefit you; instead it will further complicate your health with serious complication. Please be careful and use this thread (or any other thread) just for awareness and understanding.

Essence prescription should be done with great care. Many newcomers read this book and started prescribing leading to horrendous results...the reason Vithoulkas distanced him from this method.
