Painful dental braces

Hi,
I am due to get new crowns on but first, (due to previous gum recession & gum surgery) yesterday I had new upper dental (metal) braces applied which apparently are usually painful for teeth & gums for first few days. They feel very weird in my mouth for now, are sharp in places & rubbing particularly on inside upper lip. 1) What can I take to help my mouth accept them & for discomfort, 2) what may help my gums to move down quicker as these are scheduled to be in for approx 8 months! Many thanks in advance

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You are advised to consult your dentist for any necessary adjustments to your braces as Homeopathy cannot help you.

If there is any injury however inside your cheeks you can use Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done at least 6 times before sipping a capful of the bottle as prescribed.

Thanks for that. Can I take something like staphisagria. They are on my mind a lot as I am very aware of these foreign objects in my mouth & feel like ripping them out!! Dentist did say they'd be painful at first, I just want help in accepting them also psychologically as I am definitely more self conscious with them in. In the long run I know I will be happy that I went through with it. The feeling I have is 'tooth & gum stretching' which means they are doing their job.
